Should the Tournament of Pleasure Storyline be Single or Double Elimination?

Hello, everyone, so now that I'm getting my first eliminations underway for the Tournament of Pleasure, I would like to ask the reading public what they would like to see, going forward.

The original intention for this story arc was to last a single year. It had 18 combatants, and I had planned out the order of events and the stories I wanted to tell. Then, I figured, "why not have my patrons involved?" so I opened up the idea for voting so that people who are actively reading my works and supporting me feel like they have a real say in things. This has the side-effect of slowing down stories. What would usually take about three weeks to tell now is taking about 2 months. I would have had my first few matches completely finished and the winners decided, but now, I need to release the beginning of fights a month in advanced, and then wait for the fights to actually release to the public before I can ask for readers to vote on the outcome. Then, I need to write the finale for each, and those finales will come a month later on Patreon, and 2 months later to everyone else.

On top of that, we have the guest characters. This has become a popular option for my Patreon, and many characters have joined the fight from outside the original scope. This serves to also increase the amount of word count and scope of the storyline.

And NOW, everyone is loving all these new characters that I have made, that I'm starting to wonder: should I just have the tournament go on for over 2 years and go all in, adding a double-elimination option? Double elimination means that characters will have a chance to make it back up to the top. It means there will be more pairings and more stories set in this Tournament of Pleasure story arc. It also means that this will be the main thing I will be writing for the foreseeable future. Single Elimination means a quicker return to some other storyline, probably something with deeper characterization and stuff. Double elimination means more silly sexy tournament fun.

So, readers, what would you rather see?
