Pride | Maki and Nobara

I came out as a lesbian last year, and it was life changing. I thought I must be wrong, that it couldn't be, that I was too old to come out, that I've already been with men. So many insecurities. But then I began to think about it, and say it out. I am a lesbian. I am a lesbian. And hell, it made so much sense. I cried, I laughed. But now I'm finally myself.
I hope you know that, no matter your gender identity, expression, sexual orientation... You're welcome here, and so valid. I truly hope you're living your truth, and if you're not for any reason, my heart is with you and I'm sending my best wishes and strenght. It's not easy, but it's worth it. And you're never too old to be who you are and live by that.
