Life Update!

Hey everyone! A quick apology for my lack of posting. As we get closer to the holidays, things are getting a little hectic at work. Between my job (and, admittedly, Endwalker lol) I haven't had much time or energy to draw.

Because of this, I'm going to be on a short hiatus for December through February, so monthly billing for your pledges will be paused.

There's a good reason for this, though! Valentine's Day will be my last day at my job, and I will be jumping straight into working from home as a full-time artist instead! During my hiatus, I will try to get more work done on my current commissions. However the Mountain pinup will probably not happen until the later weeks in February after I have left my job and will be preparing for March.

If all goes according to plan, billing will resume on March 1st, 2022! I have plans to refresh my tier options and their benefits, but this won't be immediate, so whatever your current pledge amount is will be the same at that time.

I'm so grateful for you all who have supported me and my sparse artwork, and I thank you all for sticking with me up until this point. I would also like to thank those who are currently waiting on their commissions for their patience.

Starting in March, I will be returning to the monthly format for polls and will be challenging myself to sketch daily for a weekly sketch dump post, as well as opening up more slots for commissions. Currently, I reserve batches of 4 and work on them one at a time, but with some smarter planning, I'm sure I can do much more!

As I become acclimated to making art full-time, I want to try to get into making comics! It has been a life-long dream to make a long-form graphic novel/webcomic, but I already know I am not at ALL prepared for that. So, I want to start by doing some shorter (probably horny) ones. I haven't made a comic in over a decade, so I am open to any and all criticism.

I would also like to try elevating my artwork from simple pinups/poses to something more... visually interesting and dynamic. I'm sure I could, but with how little I find myself drawing currently, my artistic growth feels like it has stagnated. I absolutely need to get back into drawing backgrounds, too.

I would still like to look into streams for art! However, with Discord's current happenings, I would rather not buy Nitro for a higher quality stream. So, I may look into picarto (considering Twitch's NSFW policies).

Anyways, I have a lot of things to figure out in the meantime. If any of you know someone who is interested in commissioning me, spread the word! I will be sharing news about commission openings and pricing at a later time, likely mid-March.
