Exclusive Preview of "The Machine God" - Part II - (The Aftermath)

Update:

So, I received some feedback on the new piece and that was awesome since it pushed me even harder. So I overworked the first entrance riff to keep the forward motion from the intro part in order to hit even harder. But I think so!

I have updated the file with that new version, but you can still check the old version (see attachment)

Thanks again for any feedback. You are all awesome!

Horns up,

Alex

Initial Post:

Hi there,

Before I take my vacation and time off, I would like to update your briefly whats´coming later this and next year. So I have been lately working on a bunch of new tracks and I am counting 14 new pieces in the pipeline + 2 alternative versions of past released tracks.

So these are quite a lot of new tracks that are in the pipeline and some of them are closer to be finished than others. However, there is no specific running order of the tracks, so whenever one of these tracks are done, I will post them for you.

I also thought for months to do a follow-up and sequel of the Machine God Track

Two things I wanted to avoid with that sequel: To make yet another similar sounding Machine God track or yet another hommage of the Cultist Base Track (We all love the track, I do too) but I want to do more my own thing with that sequel. And honestly: I need a bit of fresh air and new sounds as well. By this I mean that I start implementing my Symphonic Orchestra here and there in this track.

Just a few of you know, but I am coming from big orchestra music and I have done a lot orchestral work in the past. Stylistically I am not a guy writing epic modern film orchestral music, but more like the classic filmscore things and I had a time where I had even written 1940s influenced music impressions (e.g. Korngold comes to my mind etc).

However, I am not sure if you like this implementation of the orchestra, so this is a bit of a test piece and please let me know if you dig this direction. I tried to avoid to fill all the sections with orchestral elements, but more having specific focus parts where I feel it makes sense and adds excitement and energy to the already intense piece.

The work on such tracks gets obviously more complex, since I am working with 4 different modular templates and then I put everything together. It´s sometimes a miracle that I don´t get lost. And honestly I get lost from time to time! Haha! However, check out the preview and let me know what you think. If you don´t like it, it is fine, if you do: Thats cool and I would definitely do more of that.

And later today my friends, I am drinking a beer or a Vodka. Not yet sure what you all are gonna do, but this is my plan because I really need to f*** chil :-)

Horns up,

Alexander
