Like promised here is the long and first version of the track "Nuclear Overdrive". I deliberately composed it a bit loose. I had more the gameplay factor in mind. So there are combat parts and exploring parts going forth and back in that longer piece.

Let´s get this month rolling with "Nekravol" - City of the Damned. I always loved the setting for this and felt very inspired writing a piece that might fit it.
With this piece, I tried out a few new Sound design experiments, e.g. pitch shifting sounds and using some unusual and odd meters.

So today I was spending some time to process sounds. Normally I just sit then there and check what kind of crazy tones I can get while setting different combinations of distortions, modulations etc.
So then I started putting a few ideas together and came up with an arrangement. I am not sure if I will do a track out of this arrangement. So I thought to ask you: Would you like to see this track evolve further?

As a bonus here is finally the Version B of the track "Electric Weapon Possession". When looking back at the piece, I feel I could have done so many things better. However, this was the best I was able to achieve at the time and I am still thinking that the track has some atmospheric dark vibes that I enjoy revisiting it from time to time.

Let´s start early October with the new track "The Netherworld".
This one features Combat and Exploring Parts. The whole track but specifically all the exploring music parts are based on my own Doom Array featuring a chain of Metaxonix Tx - 3, Geiger counter, Godeater, and Mutron Bi Phaser, Axe 2, and a DT Whammy in series. So here is another little gift for you. This is a snare drum where I tried to replicate the Cultist Base Snare drum tone. I recorded a Tama John Blackwell signature snare Drum with 3 microphones.
