So, good news. My internet is back. So, I'll be uploading the next tutorial tomorrow if all goes well. While my internet was down, I did some more tinkering trying to get closer to the anime shader. And, we're still a while away from anything I'm happy with. It's a little hard to explain to makes it so difficult. But, if I tried to explain it, you can easily make a basic toon shader in Blender, but to make it look GOOD, you have to have the right normals, the right shading, the right outline, the right UV maps, and the right topology all at once. If you're missing 1 of those 5, it just looks like cheap 'wanna be anime'.
Long story short, I'm gonna have to completely change Blenda's face topology to get this to work. My goal, is that by the end of this month or the next, I'll have a face model that has similar shading style, proportions and facial features to the picture you see above.
I know that's a very high standard, but I think that's the ideal face and art style I'd like to put on Blenda in the future. How close we get is gonna be a different story. But, I am getting a little closer to it every day. I'll keep you guys posted as I make progress with this shader :)
