Reborn as Gods' Blood Chapter 2: Blood Possession.

The world of Terus consisted of two vast continents: the Central Lands and the Demon-kin Realms.
Separating these continents was an ocean teeming with colossal sea monsters, making it nearly impossible for ordinary vessels to traverse.
As a result, merchants and travelers relied on flying vessels powered by mana crystals to journey between the lands.
These mana crystals were incredibly valuable and could only be found in dungeons or in rare places saturated with Wild Magic.
One such place was the Draugr Mountains, a long mountain range located in a dense jungle to the north of the Central Lands.
This jungle, known as the Beast Wilds, was home to terrifying Magic Beasts and Monsters—some powerful enough to annihilate entire kingdoms.
Adventurers from the Seven Kingdoms of the Central Lands occasionally undertook hunting missions on the outskirts of the Beast Wilds to cull monsters that might threaten nearby cities and settlements.
It was an established rule that only the strongest adventurers were allowed to venture deeper into the Beast Wilds.
Even an A-rank adventurer group would struggle to survive near the center of the forest, let alone reach the Draugr Mountains, where King Rank Wyverns and Emperor Dragons made their lairs.
The ranking system for Magic Beasts differed from that of adventurers, who were classified by letter grades.
Adventurers ranked from E (the weakest) to S (the strongest), with S-rank adventurers being formidable enough to face King Rank Monsters and survive.
Magic Beasts, on the other hand, were ranked according to titles of nobility: starting from Count-level Beasts, then Marquis-level, Duke-level (like the Duke Hornet Spider), Prince Level, King Level, and finally, the most powerful of all—Emperor-Level Monsters.
From Prince Level onwards, these creatures possessed intelligence on par with the Humanoid races and were thus classified as Monsters rather than Beasts.
The Beast Wilds were divided into five territories, each controlled by one of the powerful Emperor Monsters.
In one such territory, our Godly drop of blood sat underneath a tree, contemplating the misfortunes of existence.

The swamp where the Godly Blood Drop had come to rest, lay within the territory of the Dead Emperor Snake.
The Godly Blood Drop had shrunk in size- half of its blood volume having been devoured by the E.Coli Bacteria within it, throughout the night.
It was a crisis It hadn't expected.
Even staying still had it's dangers!
None of It's skills seemed to work against the deadly microbes, leading to a situation where the E.Coli multiplied itself by feeding on the Godly Blood Drop.
As a result, the Drop had been weakened and as things continued, it would soon be completely taken over.
'NO!'
The left over divine Will within it balked at that.
After everything it had survived, losing now was not an option.
This situation reminded it of the encounter with the Duke Spider.
Back then, the Drop had relied on deception to escape. Being too weak to fight against such a powerful monster.
Clearly, the same strategy was ineffective here. It couldn't escape the microbes as they were IN It. Which meant...It would have fight.
But what was 'fighting' even? A part of It innately understood survival, but initiating violence was a new and foreign experience.
So how would It fight?
Every second that passed in rumination resulted in more of the Bacteria taking over, and the Godly blood drop losing more of Its blood mass.
Now frantic, the Blood Drop decided to do what It had always done- Roll forward.
Mustering up all It's strength, the drop slowly moved out from under the tree's shade, fast approaching the edge of the Swamp.
It had no plan, no direction,no battle strategy, just the understanding that staying still would be the end.
A smudgy trail of blood was left on the ground where it passed, producing a scent that unknowingly attracted some attention.
Nearby, a mosquito was buzzing above some reeds when it's proboscis- sensitive to blood- twitched. A sweet aroma invaded it's senses and the mosquito zeroed in on the source.
Below, on the banks of the swamp was the corn sized red drop rolling towards the water.
The mosquito instantly recognised the red color as blood and dove down to feed.
The only source of food in this swamp were the Duke Alligators- and those had tough hides to pierce, so the possibility of free food was welcome.
A shadow appeared above the Godly Blood Drop just as [Danger sense] went off.
Alas, in Its current situation, the Drop was unable to properly defend itself or escape and the Mosquito's proboscis pierced it-
Slurp!
-And in one motion, the drop was sucked right into the insect's mouth.
Problems seemed to come from everywhere.
The drop found itself in an even worse situation than before. Had it been able, it would have screamed in frustration.
The feeling of It's blood mixing with saliva and flowing down the mosquito's throat was perverse and disgusting.
So much so, that the saliva diluted the blood, turning it into a pink sludge before the Drop completely lost its form, once it reached the mosquito's stomach.
'It's over...'
The Godly Blood Drop gave up survival and accepted it's end.
It couldn't beat the E. Coli devouring It from the inside nor the digestive juices breaking down It's exterior.
On the outside the Mosquito continued buzzing around the Swamp, searching for food to feed its offspring, unware of what was going on within it.
Inside the dark cage of flesh, the Godly Blood Drop waited for death.
And waited. And waited.
Only to find out, It's awareness was not fading. In fact, with its liquid form mixed in with the digestive juices, the E. Coli microbes within It seemed to be going crazy!
A virus within the Mosquito's stomach was rapidly destroying the E.coli bacteria faster than it could replicate!
It was a miracle.
One that the Drop capitalized on. Quickly, it gathered the rest of its form into a bead the size of the head of a pin.
The rest of It's blood was discarded- too diluted to be of any use to It.
Next was figuring a way out of the stomach before it was digested. The simple solution it came to was using [Leap] to scale up the food pipe.
In it's hastiness, the crucial matter of [Leap] requiring 5 blood units to use was forgotten, which was a crucial detail, as in It's current state, the Godly Blood Drop only had 6 blood units left.
So when It activated [Leap], almost all of its blood was expended, leaving the drop with one single blood unit.
A thin strand of blood the width of the length of a hair, was sent flying up in a great burst of speed.
So fast it was, that it missed the opening of the Food Pipe, and impacted the thin wall of flesh separating the Stomach and the Lungs, piercing through.
In a stroke of luck, the strand of blood continued on It's momentum, blowing through the lungs and piercing the Mosquito's Heart.
Fresh blood guggled before it enticingly.
It was heaven.
The Godly Blood Drop jumped in with no reservations and begun guzzling up the blood, absorbing a large quantity and regaining what it had lost.
On the outside, the Mosquito suddenly shivered in agony, a bout of weakness invading It's body.
The buzzing wings seized and with a final cry, the Mosquito fell off the air, to land on something rough and hard, serenely floating on the surface of the water.
The impact didn't kill the mosquito. What did was the sudden bursting of it's heart chambers.
The Godly Blood Drop had momentarily stopped absorbing blood as a thought crossed it's being.
It was clear It's Drop form was susceptible to attacks that were hard to defend against.
So maybe It needed a shield. Or rather, a vessel it could use to interact with the World. And as the Mosquito had shown to be effective against opponents like the E.Coli, It's corpse made it the perfect Vessel.
Coming to a decision, the Godly Blood Drop infused itself within the Mosquito's body, becoming the blood that flowed from the Heart through the veins, into every part of the Mosquito.

Were they oppisite nature's and that why they were fighting and you going for a yin yang character that's balanced and focused on survival and growth
