Schedule for this week! /text dump

Good morning/afternoon/evening, lovelies!

I just wanted to give another update about what my plans are for accomplishing chapters/episodes this week.

Star Catcher --

I asked Webtoon readers if they were okay with getting once a week uploads with long updates vs. the 3 times a week with short. They voted for long so I'm going to combine episodes and getting reward ads ready! I'm really hoping that the reward ads shows a big difference in ad rev :')

You'll notice that I went ahead and renumbered some of the latest episodes and changed some of the episode names. I didn't want to edit the posts and delete the extras, so I figured that was the best way. I also didn't want the number of episodes to not match webtoons to avoid confusion. 

I have all the way up to the new episode 41 scheduled out here. This and next week, we're going to be getting 3 long episodes on Mon/Wed/Fri so that I can ensure you guys remain 5 episodes ahead of Webtoon -- including the 2 reward ads eps. After that, I'll be just posting once a week on Fridays at 12pm :) I'm scheduled out until the end of the month which is a huge relief. I still plan on working on episodes of Star Catcher because the boys have been my current obsession. I use those panels to help motivate myself to get through TEB and Star Children -- lil treats when I complete batches of panels lol 

I'm trying to avoid making Star Catcher too angsty -- because the whole point is to have something light and cute. We are going to see more of Lucas's depression in the upcoming episodes, but that'll be paired with how Thomas handles it and supports him. Aka, being the best boy ever lol once we get through this upcoming story bit, we're going to have a lot of cute interactions before it leads up to them finally kissing/dating. I'm avoiding posting those storyboards because I'm in a spot where I wrote *too* much and need to edit still. Don't wanna lock myself in to it too much by posting them lol 

Game night --

I have up to part 8 fully done. I'm taking a small break to try to get everything else completed. Hopefully once I get caught up on things, I'll get to start part 9 next week.

TEB --

I have all the lines and flats done for Ep. 43 part 2! I'm going to render those today since I have the day off -- should have it done to post tomorrow around 12pm. After that, I need to write LOL I literally have no storyboards left to continue with (well, I have one episode that I'm writing towards involving more Nathan backstory, and an episode focusing solely on Sunny after the Ickie Vickie arc). I probably won't have an episode ready by next week because of this. 

I've been thinking that after wrapping up the Ickie Vickie arc and some follow up episodes, I can plan to wrap up the first season of TEB. I love the story and I just want more time to plan what the future holds for it and not get burnt out. I think it'll be a good place to end the first season with the entire gang finally together! I know how I will want to kick off the season 2nd -- with the puppeteer. I've been really looking forward to that demon arc!!

 I'm trying to get more music made for TEB as well. I'm currently just waiting for the musicians I'm commissioning to finish a few other jobs before they get to my request. :) 

Star Children --

I wanna rework the storyboards just a little bit, but I'm hoping to get Chapter 32 part 3 up some point this week! I don't wanna fall behind on the buffer, especially since we're about to get to where Maria and Txeru met again. Like with TEB, I need to write LOL I'm going to hopefully write Chapter 33 part 1-4, and I'll schedule those posts once I get them done.

On a sad note, star children is barely getting any engagement/views compared to it's sub count/what it used to so it's been very discouraging... 184k subs and barely 14k views on an update. It's still a lot of views compared to other series/creators, so I'm not trying to complain. That's just the problem with longer running series, I guess, especially since I took so much time off. SC's 4 year anni is on Dec 2nd, which is rapidly approaching. 

Hopefully once we get to where Maria and Txeru reunite it will spark interest again?? I don't know. I've been trying really hard to stay motivated with the story, but I can feel myself getting burnt out again. There's day I wish I could just scrap everything and start from scratch -- fix plot holes and changes events, but I don't have the capacity to do that, and restarting from where we are now would just kill whatever readership I have left. Again, hopefully once we get out of this rut of angst, it'll be better. We'll see.

Didn't mean to leave it on a sour note. I am really happy with how all the recent chapters/episodes have turned out! I love seeing ya'lls comments on all the posts here, so thank you so much for taking your time to do that. It's that positive enforcement that's been motivating me lol 

My SIL is getting married this weekend, so I have Friday off as well. I'm not a part of the wedding party, but my husband is. I'm going to just work on things inbetween rehearsals. 

TLDR; Once I'm done with the panels I have flatted, I'm going to spend this week just working on Star Children and storyboarding for SC and TEB.
