2023-07-01 12:02:18 +0000 UTCFar-fetched theory time: Megumi mentions exorcists trying to gain more powers by eating demons… I… With the Director residing inside of Ryder’s mind… Does that mean he tried/succeeded to eat the Director? Or is the Director residing inside his mind just a repercussion of the curse? … It fits just well enough together as to why he tried to defeat the Director alone… He didn’t want his friends knowing/he needed more power to fight the Ascended. Either that or the Ascended sent the Director after Ryder for some reason… I acknowledge I’m looking into this a liiiiiiittle too much but it’s simply too fun not to. 😅 It’s likely that after the meeting to defeat the Ascended and with a potential vision of his friends getting hurt, that Ryder would want to distance himself from them… Sidestepping this topic a bit, I can’t wait for Ryder to check in on Nathan only to have them meet in mind-space 😅
