2020-10-10 12:13:01 +0000 UTCI think it was necessary for Piper to just be honest since Dan already had a feeling about it in the first place. At least she wasn’t sugar coating the break up, that’s even worse if she doesn’t explain herself. I mean Dan lives next door to them and he’s going to be seeing Leo and Piper together at some point. So he had to know the real reason why and she was right tbh. Piper and Leo never really got the chance to work things out and just be together. Piper always had this problem within herself with accepting being a witch. She always wanted to just be normal and live a normal life, but she can’t have that cuz she is a witch. However, Piper said to Leo herself that she will MAKE THEIR RELATIONSHIP WORK. In her heart it has always been Leo despite it being a forbidden love and even if it’s going to make things difficult. She liked Dan and he was good guy, but her heart has always been with Leo. It’s better to break things off with Dan than continue leading him on while having lingering feelings for Leo. Someone’s feelings will get hurt regardless of the outcome. Piper and Leo have a deep love and strong connection as it is despite him being white lighter. They will fight for their love and remember what Prue said when they saw a glimpse of their future. They’re going to have to make better decisions so that future doesn’t happen. Which means Leo and Piper will still be married and have a daughter....Piper can make things right for their future. Also, that episode when they went to the past and Leo said that he wanted Piper to make her own decision without influence if she wanted to be with Leo in the present life. What’s holding their relationship back is Piper’s fear and concerns about her true calling and her wanting to just live a normal life as well as her future. When all she really needs to do is think about the present, what’s going in her life right now.

2020-10-10 08:16:32 +0000 UTCI feel like she needed to be honest with him, he pretty much knew it was because of leo but im glad she told him. I love the line "we've never really given it a shot, and I want to, I have to". Her hearts just not in it with Dan. If she broke up with him with no reasoning I feel like that's even worse than being honest about it. Also aunt Gail wasn't their actual blood relative, just their grams best friend and someone they knew forever, but I agree it shouldn't be that easy to tear the pages lol. Hope you're doing better!
