The chemistry between the three sisters is definitely the number one reason why people love this show. All of their personalities are so distinct, and each different combination of two is so great. The reason Prue is the most uptight one was mentioned briefly in the first episode; she is the oldest, and had to sacrifice her own childhood to help raise Piper and Phoebe. So she's always had to be the most mature and responsible. Their parents weren't around, but you'll find out more about that later. It's so funny how every person who does reactions to this show immediately starts ranking the sisters to see who is their most favorite. No one ever seems to be able to decide, though, lol. This first season is a lot like Smallville's first season. The plots are a little slow, and each episode is self-contained with a "freak of the week" enemy like the meteor freaks. But just like Smallville, as their powers grow, so will their enemies. No Brainiacs or Zods in Season 1! There are a few not-super-great episodes in this first batch, but it gets a lot better!
