Checksums
You can make sure that the files you downloaded are not corrupted by comparing their checksums with the original checksums listed below. All checksums are in MD5 format.
- Part 1: 16dd9f31a6c473ddbbfa68fd2c1feb3c
- Part 2: 53cf8672c7bb3ab3d9f5fe09e23af5df
- Part 3: a44d89526d0017a9e6cff6cd126aab06
- Extract helper exe: db46150af0b9ff5ace47f32f43598f6d
You can calculate checksums of your downloaded files by using the WinMD5 utility. Simply start it and point it to each of the downloaded files and paste the checksum from above. If a checksum doesn't match then you will have to redownload that part (if this happens then try a different download source).
How to use
You can watch a video walk-through here.
- Download all parts to the same directory. You can mix parts from different sources, but the file names need to stay the same. You can use any directory other than the game directory.
- Optionally verify the downloaded files with the checksums above.
- Extract the patch by running the included .exe file or by extracting first part (.001) with 7zip. Doing this will extract from all parts. Extract the files to any directory other than the game directory. At this step you will have to provide the password mentioned above (if the password prompt doesn't appear it means something is wrong with your files).
- Run the extracted patch .exe as normal. When asked for the installation location point it to where your game is installed. If you bought the game on Steam, go to your steam library > properties of the game > view local files to find where the game is installed.
- You can remove the downloaded and extracted installation files now if you want.
In case of issues
- Make sure you downloaded ALL parts to the same folder and that the parts all have the same name. You need ALL parts for the archive to open properly.
- Verify that your downloaded files are not currupted by comparing with the checksums above.
- Use latest version of 7zip to extract the archive, some other archiving programs are known to have issues.
- If you see any messages about corrupted files you'll have to re-download the offending part (or all of the parts).
- If the installer asks you for another disc it means that your download was not extracted correctly and is missing files, or you renamed or removed some of the extracted files.
- Make sure that your antivirus is not flagging and removing the .exe file.

2020-07-17 23:59:11 +0000 UTChi. i just subbed and downloaded the 3.2 HF patch for koikatsu party. i downloaded them all through mediafire individually. then dragged them from my downloads to the games folder from my steam folder.im watching a video and it tells me to click one of those files to instal the HF patch (even though hes using an older version from a year ago this should still be part of the process right?) but none of the files let me open them it says i dont have an app to open them in i guess? the only one i can open is the small download the 200mb one nad it asks me to put in a password to extract the files, like what is that?? what password. can you help me please.

2020-07-06 02:46:05 +0000 UTCI don't think there were any updates to the game. Try to restart your PC and reinstall the patch. If you seem to lose mods randomly then try to run the game as administrator, it might be a file permission issue that the patch wasn't able to fix for some reason.

It's gone back to the shitty steam version with no story mode and almost all of my characters are gone :( they're still in my folder, i tried reinstalling both the game and your patch and am still stuck with the base game. Am I doing something wrong? or does the patch just need to be updated on your end? please help haha Either way keep up the good work man what youve done so far is awesome!

2020-07-05 02:52:33 +0000 UTCAre you sure it's a zip file? Maybe the file extension is just hidden and it's actually a 001 file. Try extracting it and see if it asks for a password, if it does then it should be fine.

2020-06-17 23:33:15 +0000 UTCThe file got renamed, the (1) shouldn't be there. You need to have all files in the same folder and all files need to have their original names. WinRAR is not the best option, I suggest using 7zip instead if you keep having issues.

2020-06-06 03:37:59 +0000 UTCThe game keeps reverting back to before the HF 3.2 patch. I've got it working twice now just for it to launch as if i never installed it the next time i boot up. Any idea why that is or how i can prevent this? I have Steam auto update turned off as far as i know too.

If that doesn't help go to plugin settings and turn on high poly mode, and turn off async clothes loading (it's likely one of these two, high poly will make the game run slower so try disabling async first).
