Koikatsu Overlay Mods v3.0 (KSOX + KCOX)
Added 2019-02-05 22:50:38 +0000 UTCUpdate to KoiSkinOverlayX that adds a whole new functionality - Clothes Overlays - as well as fixes some issues. Since the project now holds 2 separate mods, I renamed it to "Koikatsu Overlay Mods". In the future it might grow with a third entry - Accessory Overlays.
- Added clothes overlays - can apply overlays to almost all clothes, can completely override textures, file watching works the same as with skin overlays
- Merged in a more correct overlay applying code by essu, fixes black outlines around transparent overlays
- Increased face render texture resolution to 1024x1024, quality should be better
- Fixed exporting textures always opening a new explorer window, now will reuse an existing window
How to use
- Make sure at least BepInEx 4.1 and BepisPlugins r7 are installed, and your game is updated.
- Download the latest release below.
- Extract the dll files into the folder `Koikatu\BepInEx` in your game's directory.
- Start character maker. You should see new tab "Overlays" show up under the Body tab, and overlay controls at the bottom of clothes tabs.

Warning: In case you want to use KKABMX as well, make sure you have the latest version of that, and that you use the newest MakerAPI.dll (currently the one included in this release). Sorry for the inconvenience, once MakerAPI is in a more finished state it will be distributed separately.

Hello, and thanks for the comment! I have the same opinion as you I believe. Since Hizashi there was nothing as good in the SLG genre. The games either focus too much on story and have simple gameplay (like OniBoku I posted before), or are not finished. The best one so far was "Noble Slave" by laplace. What should be done is telling the story through gameplay like in Hizashi and Noble Slave. Illusion seems to prefer character and scene makers over intricate H gameplay, which is easy to see in Koikatsu. I might make some mods that add gameplay elements for it, but it's difficult with how the game is built. If I see any other good SLG game then I will definitely look into modding it. I did look through older SLG games, but I didn't find anything good and made in Unity (I'm mainly modding games made in Unity game engine).

I liked your work and for each you can see that you are improving. Hizashi was one of the first and best games of this kind. The last work looks beautiful illusion 2d. Simpathetic female characters, distract only the indicators and it is not clear what they want. While I am writing to you, I want to get acquainted with mods and translations. You know, I like it in such games, that you can control the mouse, and the other to do something =).In 3d games, for me still the best Sb3 from Illusion. there at least some actions with the hand can be done, and the mouse as if instead of that hand. I do not understand why they switched to the unit, on which they make continuous character editors and animation sets. koikatu seems to be good too, at least in the mode of caressing, licking, etc. Then again, a continuous selection of animations. By the way, I remembered a decent, but somewhat clumsy game XStoryPlayer. I do not see the point in erotic games, where a lot of text, For me it is also that instead of reading GTA5 detectives, and in the past few years instead of 2d, they use 3d pictures, weighing 5GB with nothing animations. Pusooy flash drives are even more interesting, even though they’re not quite there either, but it’s still addictive.I am telling all this so that you have an idea of what I am looking for in modern games. Simple plot and freedom of action. Or scenes with caresses, like my favorite "Hizashi ...".
