It's terrifying that some people with such personalities are around such fragile and vulnerable people. Some people are just bad inside and so if they're frustrated with their life, they would use any means to unload it and regain a sense of power, even if it means by hurting old people... with dementia.... Sick :(

2022-09-08 03:25:27 +0000 UTCI really enjoyed this reaction, it's a difficult movie to watch, especially when the actor is so good. I worked in care home and some of the residents had dementia and were very confused. You have to go along with what they are saying, and not to say things like 'What are you talking about?', or 'So and so is actually dead', because they experience the grief all over again. One of the residents sometimes thought her mother was still alive, so I would say 'Oh you can go and visit her later, we will have dinner first'. Then one time one of the other carers who was a complete heartless witch said 'Your mother is DEAD', and the poor lady was an inconsolable mess until the next day when she forgot everything again. That carer got a bollocking for it, and rightly so.
