Update

Hey guys! I figured I would just give you guys a little life update! 🥰

First, Jake (my fiancé) and I have been looking at venues! We have a soft date set for planning purpose. We may have found the perfect place, but we have one more to view at the end of this month. Hopefully then we will be able to make a final decision on location!

Secondly, work has been super stressful. There has been some management changes, and my would-be new supervisor got fired for arson changes. It’s been a very interesting few weeks, I’ll tell you that. Hopefully, in the next week or two, I’ll have a new-NEW supervisor!

Thirdly, today I went to my first chiropractor appointment. My doctor showed me my X-rays of my neck (completely straight) and compared it to a healthy neck (curved). Pieces of my spine are showing signs of damage from a previous injury (I was in a car accident as a kid, and I also fell off a train, so it would be those??) and over the course of the years, has accelerated the wear down on my spinal discs. This could be an explanation for my chronic migraines I’ve been suffering with since I was a kid. I have to go 3 times a week for the next 6-8 weeks for adjustment and other treatments, but this should help prevent me losing more mobility in my neck and avoiding needing surgery in the future.

Lastly, I have my portfolio review with a webtoon editor went well! They loved my art and gave me good feedback on how to make the story better. That being said, I think it’s the best for me to go ahead and redraw the first chapter 2 complete chapters (8 parts). It’s not just for an update for the art, but to also update the story and make sure it’s more consistent with that’s going in present canon. Editors sometimes only have time to read the first few episodes of a series to consider it to be original worthy, so o just want to give myself the best shot!
