Patreon Monthly Journal - March 2021

Hello there! I hope you are all doing fine. I know it hasn't even been a moth yet since I launched this page, but hey! March is over and this journal series will be about me writing a recap of what happened during the month that just closed. It will be helpful to keep track of the nice things that happened here and there —art related of course—, how the projects are going and any other cool ideas I might come up with to improve the quality of the rewards!

So, I guess this will be a place to sit and think about what has happened… and what could happen next. Also, please remember how important your feedback and comments are, feel free to tell me what you think about the stuff I share here, ways of improving the page or any other ideas you would like me to consider. Go on, this is the place and time to speak and I’ll listen!

That being said, I feel like I don’t have much to report… yet. As mentioned before, I just released my page to the public and your support thus far has been just *inhales* amazing. For a while I always saw Patreon as this platform where all the cool and pro artists gather and make a living with their cool drawings and stuff, however, I thought that I might just not be ready for it yet. But then I realized —with the help of some nice peeps— that if I kept repeating this mindset, I would never feel ready. So, I just started working on it, asking for help and feedback, studying how other artists built their pages and asking what my audience would like to receive as rewards.

I guess I can’t really blame myself for feeling a bit insecure and scared about all of this. About how people would react or if they would even be interested in pledging when I launched the page. But the thing is that the people were already there… I just needed to ask and take that leap of faith. (And hey! You caught me! <3)

Anyway, I don’t want to make this post too long. It just makes me happy to know that you are here and genuinely enjoy the content I create and share online and are willing to support me and help me achieve my artistic —and ultimately personal— goals. I know this has just begun and there will be a lot of challenges ahead, but I’m confident I’ll find ways of solving them and keep moving on. I know I’m not alone in this… and that gives me the strength boost I need.

Thank you so much again to all of you, dear patrons, who are already supporting me here. I hope I deliver the quality content you’re looking for and remember that I’m just a guy posting his art (and a lot of gay stuff, haha) so you can always reach out to me and I’ll do my best to get back to you!
