[Spiderman] Ch: 13 [Bitch slap Raiden]

The air crackled with electricity as Raiden appeared. His eyes crackled with lightning, his long white robe flowing as raw energy surged around him. The battlefield still reeked of blood and ash, bodies of the fallen littered across the frozen wasteland. Peter cracked his knuckles, unimpressed.

"Peter Parker, I am Raiden, The God of Thunder" Raiden spoke, his deep voice filled with divine authority. "You have proven your strength. But now, I ask you to fight for something greater. Mortal Kombat is upon us, and the fate of Earthrealm hangs in the balance. I need warriors... Champions to stand against the darkness. Join me, and together we can..."

Peter held up a hand. "No."

Raiden blinked. "No?"

Peter rolled his shoulders, turning away. "I’ve got plans tonight. A nice dinner with my wife. Maybe some wine and a movie. Definitely not your godly tournament." He glanced at Raiden. "I don’t care about your Elder Gods, their rules, or their threats. Shang Tsung and his freak show? I’ll kill them all when the time comes." His voice hardened. "They don’t belong in my reality. Take your mess and get off my planet."

Skarlet stepped forward, blood still dripping from her fingers. "I’ll go."

Raiden turned to her, surprised. "You will fight for Earthrealm?"

"I’ll fight for me," she corrected, licking the blood from her lips. "Shao Kahn is out there. That bastard has it coming."

Raiden nodded. "Then you shall be one of Earthrealm’s champions."

He turned back to Peter. "You are the strongest warrior I have ever seen. If you refuse, Earthrealm may fall."

Peter smirked. "Then get stronger warriors."

Raiden’s eyes narrowed. "You misunderstand. This is not a request. This is fate."

Peter sighed. "You’re still talking."

In a blink, he moved.

BOOM.

Raiden barely reacted before Peter’s fist slammed into his chest like a meteor. The impact sent shockwaves through the battlefield, the ground shattering beneath them. Raiden flew back, smashing through mountains of ice before skidding to a stop. He turned to pure lightning to avoid the damage and reappeared a few feet away.

Peter cracked his neck. "You want me in your tournament?" His eyes glowed with cosmic energy. "Beat me."

Raiden gritted his teeth and rose. Lightning roared across the sky.

The challenge was accepted.

The skies above rumbled as Raiden straightened, his eyes glowing with electric fury. Thunder cracked through the heavens, bolts of lightning splitting the clouds as the air itself became charged with divine power. The very presence of the Thunder God warped the battlefield, ice melting into steam as the elements bent to his will.

And yet, Peter stood there, arms crossed, bored.

"You're taking your time," Peter said, cracking his knuckles. "I thought gods moved faster than this."

Raiden didn't reply. He simply raised his hand, fingers twitching.

BOOM!

A massive bolt of lightning struck Peter dead center. The sheer force could have vaporized mountains, but Peter didn’t even flinch. The moment the flash faded, he was still standing, unfazed, tapping his fingers against his bicep.

"That was cute." Peter tilted his head. "You done?"

Raiden’s eyes narrowed. In a blink, he vanished, reappearing behind Peter, fists crackling with electricity. His strike was faster than sound, a divine punch aimed straight for Peter’s spine.

Peter sighed.

Before Raiden’s fist could land, Peter simply turned and caught it. The moment his fingers closed around Raiden’s wrist, the battlefield froze. Everything—wind, dust, even the very sound of crackling energy—stopped.

Raiden’s eyes widened. He struggled, but Peter’s grip was absolute.

Peter smirked. "You hit like a damp battery."

Then, he squeezed.

CRACK!

Raiden screamed as the bones in his wrist shattered like glass. The Thunder God recoiled, stumbling backward as Peter finally let him go. Electricity arced wildly around him as he clutched his broken arm, teeth clenched in pain.

But Peter wasn’t done.

BOOM!

Before Raiden could react, Peter’s foot slammed into his ribs, sending him flying miles across the frozen wasteland. Raiden crashed through icebergs, each impact causing explosions of ice and debris. His body finally skidded to a stop against a jagged mountain of stone.

The Thunder God groaned, coughing up golden ichor. His divine form was already healing, but the pain still wracked his body.

Then, a shadow fell over him.

Raiden barely looked up before—

WHAM!

Peter stomped down on his chest, shattering the ground beneath them with the sheer force. The weight of the impact made Raiden gasp, his lungs struggling for air.

Peter grinned. "C’mon, God Boy. You wanted a fight. Try fighting."

Raiden roared, his hands surging with divine power. He gripped Peter’s leg, vanished in a burst of lightning, and reappeared in the sky, dragging Peter with him.

The storm above raged, clouds swirling like a cosmic vortex. Thunder howled as Raiden unleashed everything he had.

KA-BOOOOOOM!

A colossal explosion of divine lightning erupted from his body, engulfing Peter in a storm of raw, celestial energy. The sky turned white with the intensity of the blast, the sheer pressure cracking the very fabric of reality itself.

Raiden hovered, panting, staring into the endless light of the explosion.

"That should be enough," he muttered.

Then—

A chuckle.

Raiden's eyes widened.

The explosion collapsed into nothingness, revealing Peter floating before him—untouched. Not a single burn, not a single scratch. His mask was half-ripped, revealing a smug, cocky grin.

"My turn," Peter said.

Then, he moved.

Raiden had no time to react.

BOOM!

Peter’s fist drove into Raiden’s gut, folding him like a crumpled piece of paper. The Thunder God choked, divine blood spilling from his mouth. Before he could fall, Peter grabbed his collar, yanked him forward, and...

BAM!

...headbutted him so hard that Raiden’s hat exploded into pieces. The god reeled, dazed, but Peter wasn’t done.

Peter spun, lashing out with a kick that caught Raiden in the jaw.

CRACK!

Raiden's head snapped to the side, his neck twisting unnaturally.

Before he could recover, Peter grabbed his face, flipped upside-down in midair, and drilled Raiden headfirst into the frozen ground. The impact sent miles of ice shattering into the ocean.

Peter landed softly, stretching his arms. "God of Thunder my ass. Thor can fold you in half with ease."

Raiden groaned, barely managing to lift himself up from the crater. Blood dripped down his face, his once-pristine robes now torn and burnt. His divine aura flickered—he was running out of power.

And Peter was still at full strength.

Raiden roared. His entire body ignited in lightning as he tapped into the last reserves of his power. He surged forward at impossible speed, his fist crackling with all of his remaining divine energy.

Peter just smiled.

As Raiden swung...

SLAP!

Peter backhanded him.

Just once.

But the force behind that single slap was beyond anything Raiden had ever experienced.

His body vanished from the battlefield, launched into the horizon like a shooting star. He rocketed through mountains, through the ocean, through the very fabric of space—until finally, his battered, broken form crashed into the moon, leaving a crater the size of a city.

Peter dusted his hands. "And that’s that."

The battlefield was silent.

Skarlet stared, eyes wide, blood still dripping from her fingertips.

"...You just bitch-slapped a god to the moon," she muttered.

Peter shrugged. "He asked for it."

A moment later...

BOOM!

Raiden reappeared in a burst of divine lightning, his form flickering, his body trembling. His entire existence seemed to strain as he forced himself to stand. He looked at Peter, eyes hollow with realization.

He couldn’t win.

Peter cracked his neck. "Still wanna go?"

Raiden didn’t answer.

Slowly, he lowered his head. "No."

Peter grinned. "Good choice."

Raiden exhaled, his divine energy stabilizing. "You are stronger than I imagined. Since you have taken your stance by not joining the Mortal Kombat, you are not bound by the rules. Do what you think is better for your world, Peter Parker. But beware, Shang Tsung is a serpent more dangerous than you could possibly imagine."

With that warning, Raiden disappeared with Skarlet with a flash of lightning.

"Well, that was... He was fucking weak. Haaa..." Peter cleaned up the surroundings with reality manipulation and went home.
