So glad to see you really enjoying this arc, that even though its a bit overwhelming, you can see what a high level of excellence was achieved from everyone this arc all the way around, to the characters in the show, to the people who brought it to the screen, to the man who wrote it. Shibuya is an all timer arc.

I think part of it is the only anime he can compare it to is AOT. In my opinion, AOT is by far the best anime of all time. Most anime and tv shows in general can’t come close to the storytelling. I really like JJK btw but I can understand where he’s coming from.

Its funny how you say this has been a slow build up when jjk has been one of the faster paced animes compared to your dragon ballz narutos. Even demon slayer, this show drawed u in with awesome fights with gojo but then gave u true plot when it took him away which is a brilliant way to write a show

Keeping up with all the minute changes and strategy shifts fits our brains perfectly. The fact you make the effort to keep up is why you’re the GOAT. I usually just pretend that I understand what they are talking about. Sometimes I watch videos with a good explanation. But the only thing that matters to me is that I understand their powers. Mahito is basically a kid because he wasnt born as a curse long ago. He can change the shape of souls so he can basically make everything he pictures in his mind including himself. Kinda like lucid dreaming. His domain was inspired by goji. Gojo did it so fast to save the people from dying who cant handle his domain. So mahito did his domain so quick that he wouldnt touch sakuno and purely focus on the hand of todo to get rid of his ability. His transformation was random but it makes sense because he can literally change his own soul into everything he visions.

Gojo learned at some point that his domain gets heavily nerfed and has different use cases if he only uses it for .2 seconds like when he ran around killing those things before getting sealed. Mahito just learned from Gojo that the same type of thing must happen with his domain so he gambled that .2 seconds of sukuna in his domain wouldn’t be enough for sukuna to kill him. But since it was so brief he could only get todos hand instead of his whole body. And he was right cause sukuna just stood there respecting him for it. So that whole scene happened in real time in less than half a second.
