Currently going through all your AoT reactions JD. Just wanted to mention because I saw this but, if you ever decide to watch HxH (after One Piece and AoT it's in the running for one of my favorite anime of all time, and as someone who's been watching anime since he was a kid, and is currently 30, that means a lot.) If you ever decide to jump into Hunter x Hunter, please watch the sub. The dub is fine, but the sub, just like with AoT, is far better. It really isn't close. The emotional delivery is just simply on another level.

The Shibuya incident was always going to happen even if we excluded Mechamaru’s involvement. The only thing that would have probably been different is Mahito not been able to steal sukuna’s fingers and the death painting wombs like choso would still be locked up. I still think Mechamarus involvement made this more complicated considering how strong sukuna was in this arc and Choso almost killing Itadori.

I actually like the duality of Todo. He is one of my fave characters. He’s a realistic person. He is serious sometimes, smart, goofy, reliable, and encouraging. In other words, multifaceted. Versus someone like Megumi who is serious all the time and, therefore, very one dimensional.

I think Todo has always been a serious character in the sense that he himself in serious every time he speaks, but no one takes what he says seriously

With this amazing season coming to an end soon, I feel like tossing my hat into the ring with what you should watch next. A few others have mentioned it but I think Fate Zero would be a great one to watch. The story is dark and gritty with very minimal "anime moments", and the animation is spectacular. Some of the best I've ever seen, the company is even known as a meme to have an unlimited budget with the stuff they produce! It's one of my favorites of all time and I think you'd enjoy it!

John idk if you remember but take in mind that only yuji’s attacks work in mahito because yuji is aware of his own soul due to having sukuna with him, no one else can damage him even with black flash

Yeah season 2 finished on 23, so that'll be the last jjk episode until (probably) early 2025. I couldn't wait and started reading the manga, and ho. ly. shit. Now I can't wait for the rest to get animated
