Hello again everyone. From the video above you can see that I manage to finish the inventory system for the game in its entirety. There are a few minor adjustments to make, like the font size, confirmation window, quantity display, and item graphics, but overall it is finished. Let me tell you, testing this was a bitch. I very much underestimated the work that needed to be done with the menus. Fortunately I still have plenty of time in my original deadline, I still have over half of my time left! Not to say that means I can slack off though, I'm still going hard even through this incredibly dull and precise stage of development. The good news is that once I'm finished with these parts I won't have to work on them ever again (at least until a similar issue comes up, like developing a shop interface...).
I've also managed to make some headway into the equip menu, and while the functions in that should be easier, I have other things that I'm going to be adding for the first time like a bar for durability of the implement you have equipped, and a full display of 9 of the core stats of the game along with what adjustments to them would occur if you equipped a highlighted item. I'm going to try my hardest to get all of it finished for tomorrow, but it's quite the herculean task from where I'm standing. Until then.
