(6/3/18) Day 11 and Setbacks

Hey everyone. I know I said that I'd have the menus finished by tonight but I got really stuck on the inventory management functions and wasn't able to finish. I spent a good chunk of the day trying to patch my unfinished system I originally had before I realized it was a waste of time and just started to make everything from scratch. Although when I say "make from scratch" I mean make the system functional with one type of item and then copy the same code for the other item types. This is a very tedious process, but my safest bet for making sure it all works. I'm about halfway done at the moment, and will probably finish by the time I go to sleep in 2 and a half hours but wanted to post this now. 

Since I don't have anything new to show off, I feel that I should go over another detail of SQI/2 I realized a few days ago. Since this remake/update/prequel of SQI involves a lot more polish in terms of character design, I'm going to be updating the designs of nearly all of the characters in the game, and flesh out their stories and motivations. I also recalled that the vast majority of characters you can interact with in the first town are female, and while I'm sure most of my patrons would be fine with that I've also decided to update the shop keeper, Armei's brother, and possible the mayor in order to balance the scales a bit. Giving them more development gives me more potential for scenes as well!

Hmm, even after all of those teasers having a blank post is kind of lame... I know, I'll milk someone else's work! You know Zekel right? He's an artist back on Aotk (and a close contender for the best at that) who also has a patreon [https://www.patreon.com/zekel/posts] and he released the first demo of his own game today!
