What makes this so sad is how Satoru and Suguru are clearly in love. That explains why Suguru's crime and betrayal hurt Satoru so much, and why he couldn't kill or pursue Suguru. It's also why Satoru still trusted Suguru at his end, and why the only reason he could kill him this time was as a mercy to end his suffering. It's never stated openly, but all the hints are there, and it really does a lot to explain a lot of little things too.

NOT A SPOILER (just more context): You saw where Gojo clenched his fist so hard that he drew blood after hearing what Geto did. That means he turned off his infinity so that he could harm himself. Also you see how messed up Nanami is after losing his comrade in the mission; in season 1 you can see how protective he is over Yuji and other students. Small details like this makes us multiple time watchers/readers like this show so much. Glad you’re enjoying it more Jon!

Great reaction as always. Feels like it needs to be said, don't lose your head if you are confused by the first 12 minutes or so of the next episode lmao. It's just a reintroduction of the characters after we've not seen them for a while. The way the first half of that episode feels is DEFINITELY not the overall vibe of the arc. At all.

Loved this reaction with a bit more pausing. Sometimes takes a while to process all the detail that gets chucked at you, I probs overlooked that as I'd read the manga first. Taking a more objective stance, it is a lot of information very quickly, especially if you go in blind. Happy for you to pause and chat for as long as you want going forward!

Also note about the noises that kept playing in the back of Geto's mind: Those were the sounds of the cult from Episode 4 applauding the death of the little girl (plasma star vessel or whatever). That seemed to be where Geto's disgust with the non-sorcerers originated.
