idk if this has been mentioned to you but the reveal of the "Attack Titan's" name is just a slight bit lost in English. For some reason they translated the show's Japanese title "Shingeki no Kyojin" as "Attack on Titan", but during this reveal we hear Eren say the name of his titan as "Shingeki no Kyojin". We wait about 60 episodes for the show's title to be made fully relevant.

Alot of the super specific titan mechanics they talk about in these few episodes went mostly over my head when i watched them. And after finishing the series, I dont feel like i missed out on much by not understanding every single intricacy. Dont worry too much about picking up on every last detail or not knowing something that ppl in the comments insist you shouldve known already lol

Do you recognize that dock from Ymir's backstory episode? Now you know what they were doing and what wall they were throwing people off of. You also know who the police were and why there was an underground cult worshipping the idea of Ymir. Those guys found an orphan girl, named her Ymir, and set her up as an object of worship and told people she had "the blood of the king" in her. Now you know the context.

Just a quick note - Try not to write off the Marleyan history as all propaganda. Whilst its definitely biased the same can be said of the Eldians who are referring to themselves as the "children of god". The true impact of this story is had when you accept THAT BOTH SIDES abused their power in some way shape or form and the rage of Marley is quite fresh given the titan rule only ended 107 years ago.
