Yeah this Arc was relatively divisive, especially amongst manga fans. Anime reception was better because by the time it adapted this arc, the quick nature of the medium made it more enjoyable for new fans, meanwhile longtime manga fans were admitting in hindsight that this was indeed a great Arc I was an OG manga fan and the complaints were insufferable lol. People mocked it as "attack on human" and that "the story lost its way" In reality, what we experienced from this Arc wasn't that the story "lost its way," but rather that we, the viewers, never had a fucking clue the complexity of what the direction of this "way" always was Very glad to see you enjoyed this Arc!

Eren ate his dad, it has been revealed on episode 6 btw. I know it is kinda easy to miss but if you see the scene when rod riess and historia touched eren's back the memories of eren's dad being eaten by eren confirm how eren got his power. So the beast titan isn't eren's dad 100%

Bro I’m not sure who is telling you they don’t like these episodes but I’m assuming they are the same people that told you not to watch the ova’s. The ova’s give you more context. Specially “no regrets” is Levi’s backstory. I’ve been watching you forever now and I know you enjoy the story. Even if you don’t record it for us you should watch at the very least no regrets. The other ovas are good too and give more info but if all you care about is Levi info that’s the one for you.
