just wanna echo that i think you would really love Vinland Saga if your gonna add another show after cyberpunk. a little slow in the beginning of s1 and the first bit of s2 compared to something like jjk/aot, but the 10/10 story and writing easily make up for it

if it wasn't for the movie it already would be back. The 1hr45 min is a bit of an undertaking but it will happen soon

I love Vinland saga but don’t sell it to Jon like it’s got an adult MC when Thorfinn is literally a kid in season 1 and then in season 2 he’s 19 when he goes to the farm

Some shows with adult MCs: Fate/Zero, Kara no Kyoukai, GATE, Vivy, Gintama, JoJo, Spy Family (Yor/Loid, not Anya).

I think the content has evolved from being aimed towards only teenagers but for some reason the teenage cast has been maintained throughout a lot of anime as a bit of a holdover of the peak of shonen. I think there has been an increase in demand for adult content anime which I think will include characters being adults. But for now most shows have a teenage cast. I tend to just think of them as being around my age (mid 20s) because I feel like thats more how they act than real teenagers lol

About if there's any good anime where the main character is an adult - great question. I haven't thought of it that way but you're right, most protagonists are teenagers. Closest thing to an adult in terms of age that I can think of is Saitama from one punch man. But I also don't know a lot of deep cuts when it comes to anime, so there's probably more
