I haven't seen JJK yet, watching it alongside with you, and I definitely enjoy these little goofier moments when they tap out of the regular art style. Maybe they are just my type of humor though

But also, this show like AOT, has serious elements, but early on is more rooted in showing characters personalities even at the expense of tension.
