Status Update: 5/31/25

May was both good and bad for me.

On the bad side of things, the thing you all do not see, is my regular job. I work as a cashier in a big box retail-esque store of varying hours every week. This month was positively grueling. Hours long or cut down to where I can only get one single break in a 7 hour shift. Terrible placement on the cashier lanes to where I'm usually the first up and deal with a never-ending amount of customers. More customers than ever are going through our lanes, and management is not scheduling enough people to work, leading to exhausting shifts. All not helped by really crappy attitudes from the customers and even management themselves.

It all lead to almost an anxiety attack at work on my part. I just had to take a day off to recover from the amount of stress I was dealing with. Plus, twisting my wrist badly one weekend forced me to take another day off and then come back later to work through it didn't help either.

It was dreadful. Absolutely dreadful. I never felt so low and depressed at work in my entire life after that.

And yet, there was the good. I was able to write so much this month. So many new stories, rough drafts, and outlines were developed, one of which I'm beyond proud to have developed: Inflata-Donut: The First Nozzle.

I felt good to be able to write as much as I did and get so much done. I'm happy to see the positive response from you all as well. I'm glad you've enjoyed what I've written, and I hope you continue enjoying it in the future.

Next month, I'm planning on many new exciting things. The beginning of Summer of Ponies (stay tuned to my social media and other accounts), the new Big Wave tale on the horizon, the new shark TF done for Jaws' 50th Anniversary, and the conclusion to My Little Dinner Date. I hope you enjoy all of that as it comes.

As a reminder, I am still open for commissions if you want to get a summer story. Just click the link provided here and fill out the form.

And with that, I don't have much else to report on. Thank you all for the support this month. It really means a lot, especially seeing people enjoy my work and want to see more of it.

See you all in June for tons of great new stories!
