Sounds like the same issue I had with my old CTH-460, in my case the plastic part where the nibs goes into inside the pen cracked.

2020-04-27 15:11:01 +0000 UTCBasically the pressure is fucked, it senses a lot of pressure when the pen hovers at 1-2 millimeters from the screen. This creates big blotches of color everytime I start and end a stroke. I have done a lot of restarting, setting changes, nib switching and driver installing but no luck so far. Let's hope this is over quick
