Speaking of, I think I can't stress enough how important drawthreads were for my experience. Drawt hreads gave me my small initial community and helped me grow in a healthy surrounding even when dealing with lewds and kinks.
4chan is definitely not a easy place to just jump into and start getting known but, after a great deal of lurking to avoid fucking up badly, it's definitely a really helpful place for inexperienced artists
