This one was very much an experiment because I originally wanted to create a very refined sketch style, but I quickly discovered that it was a bit awkward to refine a sketch again after you'd already sent a refined sketch for pose approval ^^" So I changed courses and decided to go for a simplified cleaned up style.
Doing so provided it's own challenges, one of which was having to figure out what it was I even wanted to try! The 3rd image was of me messing around with what I might have previously gone for if I didn't go for lineart.
The past week hasn't gone how I'd planned, but I will definitely try my best moving forward over the next few days to bring things around. I was working past my scheduled time even though it meant I was less productive, and staying up late regardless of how I might feel the next work day.
So I think sticking to my plans regardless of whether something is done/at a good stopping point will be for the better long term. Even if it means having to readjust my plans ^^
