The wall rumbled and shifted, revealing a hidden passage beyond. The goblin stepped back, gesturing for Jack to proceed. "Only the owner of the key is allowed to go inside," the goblin reiterated, his voice filled with a solemn warning.
Jack glanced back at Sara and Jax, silently assuring them that he would be fine. With a determined nod, he took a step forward, crossing the threshold of the hidden passage. The wall sealed shut behind him, leaving him alone in the darkness.
As Jack ventured further into the passage, a faint light beckoned him forward. He followed the glow until he reached a chamber bathed in an ethereal radiance. The air crackled with energy, and a sense of awe washed over him.
In the center of the chamber stood a pedestal, upon which rested a book, and a simple green crystal ring, identical to the one he found in his parent's vault. It emanated a gentle aura, inviting Jack closer. As he approached, he noticed the title embossed on the cover: "The Ultimate Spell System."
Jack's heart skipped a beat as he read the title. This was no ordinary book; it held the key to unlocking the true potential of magic. The realization filled him with a mix of excitement and apprehension. He knew that with great power came great responsibility.
Carefully, Jack reached out and lifted the book from the pedestal. Its pages were filled with intricate diagrams, arcane symbols, and descriptions of spells beyond anything he had ever imagined. It was a comprehensive guide to mastering the depths of magic.
As he flipped through the pages, Jack's eyes widened with wonder. The book contained spells that could manipulate the elements, bend time and space, and even summon mythical creatures. It was a repository of knowledge that could change the course of his own destiny and that of the magical world.
Beside the book, the green crystal ring glimmered, seemingly resonating with the power contained within the chamber. Jack picked it up, feeling a surge of energy coursing through him as he slipped it onto his finger. He could sense the connection between the ring and the book, as if they were meant to be together, unlocking a deeper understanding of magic.
"Hey, dude, you are finally here, what's your name? What do they call you, huh?"
Jack turned towards the source of the voice and saw a small, wispy figure floating in the air before him. It was a mischievous-looking spirit, its form translucent and adorned with colorful wisps of energy. He had seen such creatures once or twice in the orphanage.
"I'm Jack," he replied, his voice filled with a mix of curiosity and caution. "Who are you?"
The spirit chuckled, its voice echoing through the chamber. "Names? Well, I've had many over the years, but you can call me Quix," it said, a mischievous twinkle in its eyes. "You can still maintain your calm expression, huh? And you can see me...?! This is the first one. Interesting, specimen."
Jack regarded the spirit named Quix with a mixture of surprise and intrigue. The fact that he could see and communicate with this ethereal being seemed to be an extraordinary occurrence. He couldn't help but feel a sense of anticipation as to what this encounter might entail.
"Yeah, I can see things others can't. What are you doing here?" Jack asked.
Quix floated closer to Jack, examining him intently. "Ah, seeing beyond the Veil, are we? Fascinating indeed. As for why I'm here, well, I've been bound to this chamber for centuries, waiting for the chosen one who possesses the key and the ring. That would be you, Jack."
Jack's eyes widened with realization. "So, you're the guardian of this chamber, guiding those who are destined to uncover its secrets?"
Quix grinned mischievously. "You catch on quick, Jack. Indeed, I am the guardian spirit of this chamber, tasked with aiding those who possess the key and the ring. My purpose is to assist you in unlocking the true potential of the ultimate spell system."
Curiosity burned within Jack. "Tell me, Quix, what does this ultimate spell system entail? How can it help me on my journey?"
Quix's form shimmered with excitement. "The ultimate spell system is a System..."
"And?" Jack asked after a pause.
"And, what? It's a System... like a System, System? Get it?" Quix's response left Jack momentarily perplexed. The spirit's cryptic answer only fueled his curiosity further.
"A system like a system?" Jack repeated, trying to make sense of Quix's words. "I'm not sure I understand. Can you explain it in a way that makes more sense?"
Quix chuckled, amused by Jack's confusion. "Ah, primitive mortal minds are often puzzled by the complexities of magic. Check it out for yourself... Just say, Open Status Window."
With a mixture of curiosity and anticipation, Jack cleared his throat and spoke the words Quix had suggested.
"Open Status Window."
As the words left his lips, the air around Jack seemed to shimmer and twist. A transparent window materialized before him, displaying a series of information and options. He blinked in astonishment as he saw his own name, along with various attributes and statistics.

Jack's eyes widened as he took in the information displayed before him. It seemed that the ultimate spell system had not only granted him access to powerful spells but also introduced a whole new level of game-like mechanics to his journey.
Quix floated beside Jack, observing his reaction. "Impressive, isn't it? The ultimate spell system enhances your magical abilities and grants you access to a vast array of spells and skills. As you progress, defeat enemies, and complete quests, you will earn experience points to level up and unlock new abilities. But do you know why it's called what it's called?"
"No," Jack replied.
"Well, if you manage to successfully cast a new spell within the first three chances, you will be able to cast that spell without any wand and you can activate it with a flicker of your thoughts. And if you manage to level up a spell to its max limit, you will be able to cast it without the mana requirement. Impressive isn't it?" Quix explained.
Jack's mind whirled with excitement and possibilities. The concept of leveling up spells and unlocking their full potential without the need for a wand or mana intrigued him greatly. It meant he could tap into the depths of magic in ways he had never imagined.
"Yes, it's truly incredible," Jack exclaimed, his voice filled with wonder. "To be able to cast spells without a wand and eliminate the mana requirement... It opens up a whole new realm of possibilities. But how do I level up spells? And how do I know which spells are available to me?"
Quix grinned mischievously, delighted by Jack's enthusiasm. "Ah, the mysteries of the ultimate spell system unfold before you, Jack. To level up spells, you need to practice and refine your casting skills. The more you use a particular spell and succeed in casting it, the closer you come to leveling it up. As for which spells are available, look around you, there are thousands of books available for you, but I think it would be better for you to start your lessons at Hogwarts."
"That was the plan. So you know Hogwarts?" Jack asked.
Quix nodded, his wispy form bobbing in the air. "Oh, I'm quite familiar with Hogwarts. I wonder if that snake tongue monkey beard guy is still alive or not. Let me tell you, man, that guy was one hell of a work. He hates muggles and does some dark shi... things... Anyway, just hope he never returns to school. Oh, say hello to Griff when you see him. Anyway, it's time for you to go."
"Wait! How do I enter this place again?" Jack asked.
"You don't have to, that key in your pocket is a portkey. Just use that to come and go. Well, see ya, kid," With those final words, Quix flicked his fingers, teleporting Jack out of the chamber.
