Update 10.26.2019

Beep Boop!

So for the $1 tier I realize there has been no information about all the projects I've been working on and releasing WIPs of. So here's a list of them:


1) Hill Top Scene - A 30 second little scene of a silhouetted picnic on a hill in the moonlight. It's a thing I wanted to make just to see if I could, and it turned out just the way I wanted.

2) Sweet Dreams - Katie is dreaming again and gets a huge hard on (involves intense stretching of the underwear) it's quite similar to a previous scene of her's in TK17, but this time with physics, better visuals, and much better boner animation. Blender rules >:)

3) Gentle Stuffing - Katie pushes her rod in Laurene's ass. I had a lot of fun with this with the amount of control I now have with how the genitals move. It's a short animation but involves 70 seconds worth of angles. I rendered this entirely in Eevee, the engine which is much faster but at the cost of visual fidelity. However it does still look rather good.

1 and 3 are actually finished rendering wise, and just need SFX before I will release them for you all.

 Head in the Sand has had it's most difficult scene solved and the scene is going to be re-rendered tonight (for the third time, yeesh) which is great. It's proved to be such a pain and unfortunately a couple of the reasons I still don't really know why. Certain things just changed in rendering vs. preview, and I checked all modifiers to be active in viewport & rendering.

Working on several projects, instead of becoming overwhelming, has actually helped my attention deficit brain greatly in productivity. I often work with physics / fluid baking, which means there will be  constant breaks, so having other projects to jump into keeps me focused. Often working on different projects can help me get my thoughts together about another one, and has even helped me problem solve several times as I come back with a fresh perspective.

As for other random stuff - I created nipple textures for Laurene (and will add them for other characters shortly) and it went very well. The nipples definitely looked too painted on for the art style, and now it feels appropriate. I've also been constantly tweaking the skin textures to get something that feels right. A huge issue is that denoisers which are necessary for removing noises from Cycles renders tend to blur out a lot of skin detail. This is one of the reasons why rendering in Eevee has been satisfying, as there is no noise to begin with, and all the textures are very clear.

This isn't directly related to my work, but something a 3D artist advised to do for character modeling was to make speed sculpts every day to improve. I'm on week 2 now and it's very satisfying to first of all create something that I can decide is finished in 30 minutes, and secondly just creating small things.

I already knew a bunch of fundamentals and shapes about faces, but getting the confidence to do it fast and sternly feels right. One day I could probably make new characters from scratch in just a day or two. I'm also sculpting from both real people and cartoon characters, which helps me to find new art styles. This will be important for the style I always desire, and is probably the most visible in Katie.

And that's the latest in the ol' world of the one and only mudskipper you all know...!
