Hey everybody!

So I have to mention something I thought wouldn't be an issue. I don't like sharing personal information but I owe you guys a lot so it's fair you know this too.

I'm currently seeing my girlfriend in another country, and I didn't have a laptop of any kind to bring with me (these trips are the reason I've taken so many vacations).

She offered me her new laptop to work on while she was out at work, and that seemed like a great deal on all ends. Unfortunately the laptop is struggling quite a lot with Blender, crashes a lot (sorry to my gf for stressing your precious machine so much D:) and I don't have nearly as much time to work anymore since she needs the laptop too quite frequently.

Animating has been hard (for the Blender people - the viewport fps hovers around 15 quite stubbornly and that's a pain) and rendering animations definitely won't work out.

I'm coming back in a week (been here for about month) so I'll get back to my monster machine soon >:).

BUT! while animating has been awful, I got a little excited about creating an ethnic character for the first time, and the results have been awesome. I got into hair strand systems which I've been dreading this whole time for render time savings, but I decided to just go for it and worry about that later. Her hair is still WIP as my character's hairs always are... Meet Camilla. :)
