Quick Little Update
Added 2017-07-04 14:22:41 +0000 UTCI'm currently taking a 6 week long facial anatomy course which I'm very happy about. I''m okay with using certain pre-made assets since we're making porn here after all, but the beauty of faces I absolutely wanna nail in my own style and confidently know what I'm doing.
This isn't preoccupying 100% of my time, but it is taking a good chunk of it. Obviously it shouldn't count as "taking my time" since it's going towards the same goal, but I won't be doing an intense amount of Blendering until I have more foundation in understanding faces.
I want to keep pressing the matter that if you're pledging with the expectation of awesome porn being RIGHT around the corner, you might want to calm down a bit. It's getting there at a very decent pace, but I don't want to start making productions if I don't have the skills. Looking back, I've made tremendous progress this year, and I hope I will continue to do so.
Ideally your pledge is an investment in my artistic development so that I can offer you some obscenely thought out pornography. The money has helped me buy equipment and deal with some annoying bills to get them out of my way and focus much more on this. I might even consider buying a drawing tablet with it to design my characters in 2D first. I suppose being able to draw would help me a lot in general, so it's a possibility.
I'm not worried about lost pledges as much as wrongly attributed pledges when all I can offer right now is development updates.
Think of it like I'm developing a video game.
