Random Update

Random update time again ding dong ding dong! Featuring a random pinup of Katie chillin' in' the' p'o'o'l'.

I like transparency so I'm gonna be very straight forward - I had a little drop of motivation in the past month. There are several reasons in this current project, but ultimately I didn't push myself as hard as I should have. 

I didn't wanna make this post unless I had something actually positive to say, so I waited until I actually got back on track. (Which is... Now. Yes. Hmm.)

I'm a good two-thirds done with the animations, and am progressing at a very good daily pace now. I might as well talk about some of my work process since there won't be a better place for it than here. I also wanna have more updates / interaction with you, or more picture works since those are a nice way to occupy the silence between videos.

This video, commissioned by J (woo *party horns*) was basically a paragraph long idea that I've been turning into a fully fledged video. That's usually how his commissions work - he comes up with something bonerific and I go wild with it. That's also why I love making commissions for him, since being free creatively is so much fun. 

During this video though I realized that it was a bit difficult to keep going forward when I had NO idea where I was going, and how long I was planning on this project being. I don't write out scripts, I pretty much have the next couple of animations thought up in the middle of the current one. So the next video I will write a script for and see if that works better.

I've also thought if I should try to pursue smaller videos instead of gigantic 10 minute pieces as to get more stuff out there. The internet is a confusing place, and sometimes my month long work doesn't get half the attention of one of my random looping gifs on Tumblr.

There's a lot of world building that I will never be able to fit into videos, but could be important (read: hot) to the people who like dialogue and setting. I thought of making a Wiki, but I couldn't find one that allowed NSFW content. If you have a good solution for this, I'd love to know!

I also have some half finished biography designs of Laurene. I almost finished them but got stuck when I couldn't accurately measure her... measurements.

So there's some stuff. I'll be making a separate post about a survey about my videos as a fun little thing almost right after this.
