April Update: Upcoming Demo

Thank you everyone who was able to show support in buying the Early Access version of Smol Kobold Garden on Steam! I've been struggling a bit for awhile now but the additional support has helped me get back on my feet! This month has been the most hectic I've ever had to deal with in releasing Smol Kobold Garden, getting updates ready, and preparing a Kobold Garden demo for Steam Next Fest, but overcoming these challenges will allow the foundations to be laid for an easier and fun way to develop these games with the community in the future.

Steam Next Fest is in June so I have to get a demo ready for it in the next month. I'm confident I can do this but it will result in a demo that has a similar lack of content to Smol Kobold Garden currently. It will have a hub and 1 garden area you can go back and forth between. The garden will be a jungle biome where you raise the kobolds in. You'll be able to pickup and pat them but I also want to get at least one food item in so you can feed them as well. There will also be one minigame where you can pit a kobold to race other kobolds with in at least 1 race track.

The demo will be uploaded here as early as I can before the event for you guys to try it out even earlier. I want to then continue this trend so you guys can try out builds at least a month or even more before it goes live on Steam in the following months. Going more in-depth on changes and developments.

The kobolds you see in the images before you are the current models for the Kobold Garden demo. There are a few fixes I want to make in the details and proportions of the face, arms, and legs but may just go with this if I'm low on time. Colors are also a work in progress of course. I'm also using some bought assets for the garden to make it in time for the demo but I'm liking how its turning out so far!
