July release!

Hi Charles! That's exactly what we were trying to do with this Patreon. We were thinking about the different possibilities of creating miniatures that could be basic and with some variation in the poses. Thank you so much for your kind words, we really appreciate that someone notice that! We really have lots of influences, Warhammer Fantasy and Kings of War are also a great two to focus on. We are thinking a lot about the future of this Patreon and for now we believe that the best option is to combine basic unit releases with stand alone miniatures releases (like hero style) with different themes, to have even more variation throughout the months. We will talk about it in a post in a few days.

Countercharge (a KoW podcast) did a recent podcast about printing SLA miniatures. They were discussing that if anyone created a Patreon where the creators essentially released units of WHFB-like models that had some variation in the poses, it would be the *perfect* way for printing Kings of War armies. Most Patreons have really neat special characters but often don't do too much in the way of line troops. You get that right with your approach. I think you'll find a lot of support in the Kings of War community.

Hi Dallas! Thank you! And yes, the skull is just an add on. The miniature comes without anything under the feet. You can use the skull or whatever you want (if you want to create your own base or a diorama). We'll create a rock and a wooden box after the release to put it the same place as the skull. :D

love the standard bearer, great to see a musician thats not a drummer. hopefully the skull under the captains boot is a add on and not part of the model. its a good option but im not sure i would use it. in general beautiful work again guys, thank you

These look fantastic. An idea for a future release: I get the feeling that a lot of these miniatures are going to see play in Kings of War (a rank and flank successor to WHFB). Often we field our ASB (Army Standard Bearer) with a magical item called the Lute of Insatiable Darkness - it allows the ASB to cast Bane Chant on a nearby unit, making the ASB more than just a source of morale re-rolls. It would be great to see a standard bearer who is also toting around a lute. I mean, I would totally print up a skeleton doing that, since that's what my Undead ASB does all game.
