Ranma's Perfect Wives

DING! DONG!

“Hmm? Hello, who is it?” Akane asked, opening the front door.

“Fufufu~. I am Nodoka Saotome,” Ranma’s mother said, greeting her future daughter-in-law.

“Wait, you’re Ranma’s mom!? Please come in,” Akane said, wishing to make a good first impression.

“Why thank you~,” Nodoka said, accepting her invitation and making her way into Akane’s home.

“Please wait right here. I’ll go make some tea,” Akane said, leaving Nodoka in their living room.

“My, my, my, so this is where my two “boys” have been hiding from me,” Nodoka said to herself, looking around the room. “I do wonder how my “son” is doing?” It had been some time since she last saw them, and she knew that she could only see them if she caught them off guard, hence the reason for coming unannounced.

“I’m back! I hope that you didn’t wait long,” Akane said, coming back into the room with a set of tea for them to drink.

“Not at all, dear, thank you~,” Nodoka said, drinking some of the tea. It was adequate but not nearly where it should be if she were going to be the wife of her “son”.

“It’s nothing, really,” Akane said to her, knowing that she was being nice. “My older sister is much better than me. “

“Fufufu~. Don’t be so hard on yourself, sweetie. There is always room for improvement,” she said, gently touching her purse.

“Um, if I may ask, why are you here?” Akane asked. She only knew two things about Ranma’s mother, the first being her name and the second the promise he made to her, though while he was still cursed, that promise would go unfulfilled.

“I am here to see my son~,” Nodoka said to her, seeing that her daughter-in-law would be the perfect person for what she had in mind. “Or rather my “daughter”.”

“H-how? How did you know?” Akane nervously asked her. Ranma didn’t want his mother to know about his curse. How was this possible?

“How? The answer is simple. It’s because I’m a mother. Trusting my child to Genma was a mistake on my part. To think that he would train in the cursed springs. It is lucky that my child still retains a human form when they turn. I have been keeping an eye on them for a while now, and I know that it isn’t Ranma’s fault. They have always been a dutiful child, though their father has not. Bringing my child here has only caused Ranma more hardships, and they’re constantly getting into trouble.”

“As their mother can’t condone such misbehaviors any longer. However, I have noticed that you, amongst everyone else, have the power to control him. I would like to thank you from the bottom of my heart for this service that you have done, but I am afraid that alone you are not enough to control them, especially when they turn into a cute girl more often than not. I have to say that if Ranma were born a girl, I would want her to look just as she does right now.”

“Miss Saotome, while I know that Ranma can be a bit much at times, he’s honestly a good person. He doesn’t try to get into this crazy situation. It just happens.”

“Fufufu~. You misunderstand me, dear child,” Nodoka said to her. “I am not here to punish Ranma but provide them with a proper wife~.”

“W-what are you talking about?” Akane asked, not comfortable with the expression Nodoka was giving her as she pulled out a clear flask that contained nothing but water inside of it.

“Do you know what this is?” Nodoka asked Akane, pouring some of the water into Akane’s tea cup. “This is water from The Spring Of The Drowned Copycat. When it is presented to another person, and that person drinks it, that person will transform into the person that gave it to them every time that they are hit by cold water.”

Why are you telling me this?” Akane asked, feeling immense pressure from Nodoka, making it impossible for her to run away.

“Because I want you to drink this and become me~,” Nodoka said to her, revealing the reason why she was here.

“What!?” That’s insane! There’s no way that I would ever agree to that!” Akane yelled at her.

“And why not~?” Nodoka asked, already prepared to see her resist. “As my child’s fiancé, it is your job to take care of their needs. As a proper wife, this is your duty. And in my form, you can do just that. You can become not only the perfect wife but the perfect mother as well.”

“No! Why should I have to become someone else just because you say so!” Akane yelled at her.

“That’s because you love Ranma~,” Nodoka said to her. “You may like to deny it, but the truth is that you love him from the bottom of your heart. You want nothing more than be the best wife that you can be for him, but you are scared that you aren’t good enough. But there is no longer any reason to fear. By drinking this, you can become the best wife that Ranma could ever want. And there will be no one to force you to stay in my form. With a simple warm bath, you’ll be back to your normal self.”

“But I… I don’t…”

“It’s okay~. I know how hard it is to deal with being a wife and a mother,” Nodoka said, tempting Akane more. “If you truly love Ranma, then this is something that you can’t deny. You have to take this chance for Ranma~.”

“F-for Ranma,” Akane nervously picked up her cup and held it next to her mouth. If she did this, then there would be no going back.

“Yes sweetie, that’s it, there is no reason to resist it~,” Nodoka said, happy to see that Ranma was engaged to such a dutiful woman~.

POOF!

Akane finally gave in and drank that tea. The moment she did, a cloud of smoke appeared, and the next thing she knew, she not only looked like Nodoka but was dressed like her as well. It truly was like magic.

“Perfect~, Absolutely perfect~,” Nodoka said to her new twin. While their age and height didn’t change, Akane was now a perfect replica of her. “Now, let’s see what you can do~,” Nodoka said, standing up, prepared to test Akane on what she knew about being a proper wife so far, but when she did,m something unexpected happened.

“Akane, I’m back!” Genma yelled, walking through the front door. I brought the rice for tonight’s din…ner.”

“Why hello there, Genma, or should I say panda-kun~,” Nodoka said to him in a dark tone seeing her husband for the first time in a while.

“N-N-Nodoka! What are you doing here, my love? And what panda are you talking about?” he asked, unable to stop sweating, seeing that she had brought her sword with her.

“Genma, you foolish old man, did you really think that I wouldn’t find out~?” Nodoka asked, her toe getting even darker than before. “Did you think that I would forget?”

“Nodoka, I can… no… you didn’t!” Genma yelled, seeing the mini Nodoka across from him, not even realizing that it was Akane. “No! I won’t die! I have too much to live for!” he yelled, running away as fast as he could. Nodoka would have to deal with him, though that would have to wait for later.

“Sigh, whatever a foolish man he is," she said, fake crying. "Come along, dear. It is time that I get to see what you're capable of~.” Nodoka dragged Akane to the kitchen, who was still coming to terms with her new form. Was this how Ranma felt when he was transformed into a girl?

For the next few hours, Nodoka had Akane cook and clean for her, two qualities that, as a housewife, she needed to possess. Though unfortunately for Akane, she didn’t possess either skill.

“No, not like that, like this,” Nodoka said, trying to see her the best way to make Ranma’s favorite dish, but Akane kept failing. Nothing she did was correct, and any attempt at trying to get better only made things worse.

“I’m sorry!” Akane yelled, seeing that she was starting to frustrate Nodoka. Nodoka was doing her best to help Akanmce, and that only made her feel so much worse, knowing that she was failing to live up to her expectations.

“It’s fine, let’s try again,” Nodoka said to her, understanding that patience was key here. Akane may possess her body, but it would take her some time to learn her skills. Luckily her body’s muscle memory was slowly starting to kick in.

For the rest of the day, Nodoka continued to train Akane to be just like her, from how she cooked to how she cleaned to even how she acted. Everyone else in the Tendo family and Ranma would be home for the next few days, giving Nodoka the perfect chance to train her twin.

“Hmm, while it isn’t terrible, it isn’t great,” Nodoka said, taking note of Akane’s progress these past two days of training. When it came to cooking and cleaning, she was adequate, but she wasn’t perfect. However, when it came to training her to be a mother, Akane was a natural. The baby doll that she brought to help treat her was treated like an actual baby. In terms of clothing them, feeding them, and cleaning them, Akane got full scores. Though what was more shocking was that she got full scores on the hardest difficulty that Nodoka could take the test. Luckily for Akane, she was practically taking care of a baby known as Ranma every day. Dealing with something like this didn’t even cause her to break a sweat. It was easy for her.

“Akane, you have done wonderfully. How did you manage so well? I set it so that the baby would cry every ten minutes, but you didn’t lose your cool at all.” Nodoka had to know how she did it. When she was raising Ranma, there were times when she couldn’t handle it and broke down crying from stress.

“It was easy since I had to help my big sister take care of the family since I was young. Also, with all of the crazy things that I experience being around Ranma, this is easy. Though, to be honest, he’s so manly that it’s more of a reward to take care of him rather than an inconvenience… huh? Why did I say that?” Akane questioned herself, never thinking of Ranma in such a manner before. Little did she know that the Nodoka side of her was slowly changing her to love Ranma more and more.

“Wonderful, though, if only we could improve the quality of food cleaning,” Nodoka said to herself, soft enough so that Ranma couldn’t hear her.

“What was that?” Akane asked, thinking that she had heard something.

“It was nothing, dear~,” Nodoka said to her. Now lets-”

CREAK!

“Akane! Mr. Tendo! I’m back, and I brought Ukyo~!” Kasumi yelled, entering her home with Ukyo by her side. “Akane? Where are you?”

“Mother (in-law), what do we do? Kasumi,” Akane asked, worried about what she should do as she was still a copy of Nodoka.

“Hmm, Akane, if I do remember correctly, you said Kasumi was better at household chores than you~?”

“Yes, I did~,” Akane said proudly. “Kasumi is the best. She’s been the head of this family ever since… ever since mom passed away. “

“It’s alright, sweetie. I am certain that your mother would be proud of both of you~,” Nodoka said, calming her down. “And who is Ukyo?”

“Ukyo is a friend of ours, and she’s a great chef. Her signature dish is okonomiyaki.”

“Oh my, Ukyo is a chef, you say~? Wait, I just thought of an idea~,” Nodoka said, preparing some more “tea” for her new guests. Akane, listen here….”

“Akane, where are… huh? Who are you?” Kasumi asked, seeing two strange women inside her home.

“Sister, it is me~,” Akane said to her, knowing that it was pointless for her to lie to her sister. “And besides me is our mother-in-law Nodoka Saotome.”

“I can explain everything, but it would seem that the two of you need a drink first,” Nodoka said, sitting down at the table with Akane, so following suit.

“Alright, we shall listen to you for now,” Kasumi said, knowing that both Nodoka and her precious younger sister were up to no good.

“Please drink,” Nodoka and Akane said, insisting that they drank the tea. And despite their suspicions, they drank the tea.

“Now tell us what is-”

POOF!

The moment they took their first sip of tea, a cloud of smoke appeared around them, and the next thing they knew, they not only looked like Nodoka and Akane but were dressed like them as well.

“What the hell!?” Ukyo yelled, jumping to her feet, scared that her entire body had just changed as if it was nothing.

“Oh my~. It would seem that we fell for your trick, dearest Mother~,” Kasumi said, realizing that Nodoka was planning something from the beginning, but she decided to let it happen.

“As you can see, just like Akane, I have used the water from The Spring Of The Drowned Copycat to transform you both into mini-versions of me~.”

“Isn’t it great~!” Akane said, starting to lose her sense of reason. “Now we can all be sisters and Ranma’s wives~!”

“What!?” Ukyo yelled, her face turning beet red from embarrassment. She had always wanted to be Ranma’s wife but not like this! “No! please turn us back!”

“I’m sorry dear, but that won’t be happening,” Nodoka said to her. “The effect of the water from the cursed springs cannot be removed. You are now like my dear Akane, and just like her, you shall become my dear child’s wife~.”

“What! No way! You can’t make us!” Ukyo yelled at her.

“Ukyo calm down and think about this,” Kasumi said, realizing that there was some logic in what Nodoka, or rather her new mother-in-law, was trying to do here. “Akane is great with handling Ranma and others, making her the perfect mother. I am great at housework, and you are an excellent chef. Together we become the perfect wife.”

“But I… I can’t, not like this...”

“Don’t worry~!” Akane yelled, hugging her new twin. You’ll love it. Ranma is super strong and handsome. It’s only fair that he has three wives as wonderful as we are~.”

“Listen to you, sister dear, she held similar thoughts when she was transformed, but in the end, she learned to love her new form~. So far, whenever she transforms back to her normal self, she sprays herself with a bit of cold water so that she can become perfect~. Don’t you want to be perfect~? For Ranma~?”

“I… I do,” Ukyo said, realizing that this was her chance to receive Ranma’s love finally.

“Perfect, now let’s get to work~,” Nodoka said, clapping her hands together. “Akane, it’s time that we help your new sisters and fellow wives understand their place~.”

“Yes mother~!” Akane happily said as they began to train for the next several days.

-5 Days Later-

“Akane, I’m back from my training~!” Ranma yelled at her girl as she entered the home, which had a strange smell lingering in the air. She was currently a girl because she was hit by a bucket of cold water on her way home. “Can you warm up the bath for me!? …Akane?” Ranma looked around but couldn’t find any sign of her around, but she felt like something was wrong.

RUSTLE! RUSTLE!

“Psst! Ranma!”

“Huh?” Ranma looked over to the entrance to the living room and saw Nabiki sticking her head out the door.

“Run~!”

“What…?”

“Hmm, Nabiki-chan, we told you that you need to act like a proper lady~,” Akane said to her, treating her once older sister as a child. “What are you… oh my~. You’re home~.”

“No… it can’t be!” Ranma yelled, believing that Akane was her mother. She had to escape. “Ehem, what I mean to say is that I don’t believe that I know you,” Ranma said, backing up only to back into Ukyo, who was carrying some tea with her.

“But we know you~,” Ukyo said as she saw the look of horror spread across his face.

“Yes, we do~,” Kasumi said, coming back from finishing the laundry. “Ranma dear, you’re mother has been waiting for you~.”

“What is this?” Ranma asked as he was forced into the living room, allowing Nabiki the chance to escape.

“Hello Ranma, it’s been far too long~. Have you nothing to say to your mother~?” Nodoka said, finally seeing her son or, rather, her daughter after all this time. While she was cute as a girl, she would rather see what they looked like as a boy.

“I’m s-sorry, but I believe that you’re mistaken. I’m not-”

SPLASH!

Without warning, Ukyo poured hot water on her, transforming her back into a boy.

“Mistaken? I don’t believe that I am,” Nodoka said to him, her sword in her hands. “I would be a terrible mother if I couldn’t recognize my own child after all this time, no matter the form that they may take.”

“Mom, you have to understand! I didn’t want to hide this from you! I want to find a cure! I wanted to-”

“That’s enough,” Nodoka said as her daughter-in-laws pulled out their swords as well. “Please sit.”

“Mom, please don’t make me do this. I can fix this,” Ranma said as he was forced to sit down by his mother’s clones.

“Foolish child, I have not come here to take your life, though perhaps to beat your father up a bit since this was his fault,” Nodoka said, wondering if Genma would ever return. “No, I came here to give you a gift, just like any good mother would do. I have used the water from The Spring Of The Drowned Copycat to transform these three girls into mini-versions of myself, and together they shall be your new wives~.”

“What?”

“It’s true, Ranma. Now we are perfect for you~,” Kasumi said, rubbing her breasts against his back. “We choose this. We’ve always wanted to be your wives~,”

“Here, eat up~,” Ukyo said, forcibly feeding him.

“We are here for you~,” Akane said to him. “You are the strongest and manliest man around. Only you have the right to possess three beautiful wives like us~. Aren’t you glad~. “

“Fufufufu~. Can’t you see how eager they are to please you~??” Nodoka said to her precious son. She prepared these three just for him.

“But I…”

“Ranma~? Don’t you want us~?” Akane said, slowly pulling out her sword as did the other two. They were told to make Ranma love them, no matter how they had to do it.

“I… I… I do?” Ranma said, nervous to say no to them, fearing what they would do to him if he did.”

“Isn’t this wonderful, girls~!” Nodoka yelled, clapping her hands together. “He’s agreed to marry you; now it's time that we get prepared for the wedding~! Oh, this is going to be so much fun~!!!”

“Yes, yes, yes~!!!” Akane squealed excitedly. “I’ll get the wedding kimonos ready. I Should have enough. I’ve been collecting them for a while now~.”

“And I’ll call up some people to help ready the dojo,” Ukyo said, thinking about what they should serve for their quests.

“Oh, I know a Shinto priest that can marry us right away~,” Kasumi said, eager for them to marry their beloved Ranma.

“Wait! I didn’t mean that I would mar-“

SHING!

The girls unsheathed their swords, scaring Ranma from finishing that thought. “What I mean to say is that… I would l-love to marry all of you,” Ranma said, nervously knowing that he wouldn’t be able to escape his fate.
