The barrage has ended and an eerie silence has set in, only broken by the distant sound of other ongoing battles. You've been able to hold the chokepoint so far but it's been tough and you don't know how many assaults your company is able to drive back before you run out of ammo - and men. Those mercenaries on the other side... they've been tough. And you've been seing strange silhouettes gathering in beyond the mist. Are they bringing up some new weapons?
Then the ground beginns to shake, a rolling thunder breaks through the fog and a roar of dozens of throats, faint at first but soon louder than the horn of an incoming truck fills the air. And suddenly they break through the smoke - the forms of giant women in full charge. Their boot clad feet sending cars and debris flying out of their way, threatening to crush anyone brave enough to hold their ground before them. Their rifles spew bullets the size of tank shells as they open fire - and so do you, brave soldier that you are. But how are you supposed to stop this onslaught of living tanks? Your gunfire has no chance to penetrate their armor and they're upon you in a matter of seconds. Panic sets in as the first line gets routed. The battle has been lost. It's retreat or being crushed.
Yeah, I'm not good at writing in english - or military fiction for that matter. But I had this image in my mind and a vague idea of this story, so I tried :) I hope you like it and if you wanna revamp it, be my guest!
