Here is another example of mesh-wrinkles and their tremendous scale compared to humans. Julia has peppered her sole with huandreds of thousands of people and some buildings for good measure and now watches in delight as they wander the vast, undulating landscape of her foot. They mostly accumulate in the deep valleys of her soles since traversing the "mountains" in beetween is rather exhausting for the tinies. They are but dust on her feet, just a mass of tiny particles of dirt on soles so large, they take hours to traverse.
Distributing all those humans was especially tricky here, since I wanted them only on certain parts of the sole, like in the valleys of the wrinkles and on the toes. I used blender for this as well and then slowly and painfully converted the particle systems to actual mesh so I could export it to DAZ and render it there. Some day I really should switch to blender all together...
Go follow me on Twitter: @UnseenHarbinger! I tend to publish WIPs and other stuff there, which I don't tend to upload anywhere else (because I'm lazy).
