I was hanging out one night with one of my female friends. She was plus sized and had on flat sandals. I was the middle of the summer so it was a warm, breezy night..perfect to just hang out to smoke and drink. I talked to her earlier in the day and we supposed to hang out at my house when the sun goes down. I made my way to the store about a hour before she was to come over. When I was walking into the door of the store, I seen a big ass beetle crawling towards the door. It was a woman walking in as well and I stopped to make it seemed like I was looking for something in my pockets, and she walked around me to walk in and she just missed the beetle by a few inches. She didn't notice it at, as it sat big as hell on the ground. I ended up putting the beetle in something, I forgot what it was, but I put it in my pocket. My friend finally arrived and we was in the garage. I knew her for a long time so she was relaxed, but I haven't seen her in a long time. We both was standing in the dark, but the garage was slightly lit from the street light in the alley. So it was light enough to where you could see the ground, but can't dark enough to can't make out what you see. I took the beetle out my pocket without her noticing anything. It was very much alive and quickly tossed it to the ground when she wasn't paying attention. It landed very close to her, and it eventually started to crawl, but closer to her. She began to talk about something else and she began to walk around a little while she explained something. I listening but keeping my eye on the beetle the whole time. It crawled to where she was standing before and she haven't noticed a thing as she walked back to where she was. She barely missed it, and it was only about 2 inches from her sandals. It took about 5 seconds before she moved her foot again, and stepped directly on the beetle. I heard it crush because I was paying attention to it, but it was music playing and I don't know if she heard the sound, but she definitely felt it under her foot. She stepped back and looked down, and played it off like I didn't notice what was going on, and she didn't mention nothing as the ground was dark. She continued to talk, and she avoided the beetle for a while until, eventually she forgotten about it. She stepped on this beetle multiple times, and she would step on it and step right off without noticing, or she would step on it at minutes at a time. About 2 hours later, she was about to leave and I acted like I dropped something, and turned my flashlight on to look at the ground. I mentioned there a dead beetle on the ground to see what she would say. She said "I think I stepped on that, I forgot it was down there". I asked her why do you think you stepped on it. She said "because I felt it crush under my foot, I didn't know what it was". She didn't have any emotions about it either, no care at all. She eventually left, and I snapped the pics.
