You might have noticed that I purged everyone's access to the repo. Worry not, im just experimenting with a new app I built to auto-issue access to the repo. Please go to https://gatekeeper.debridmediamanager.com/ and test it out. Back to regular zurg programming!

Make a STRM tutorial with zurg and get 1 month RD sub

I'm getting tons of questions about how to setup strm files with zurg but since I am not using this workflow, I am not able to provide a straight answer besides it only working on Infuse or Jellyfin or Emby. I'm gifting a 1 month RD sub to anyone who can create a tutorial (post it in r/RealDebrid or your own website, doesn't matter). 1 RD voucher per person only. To join, just comment on this post (or in the reddit post) of the tutorial you made and I'll contact you for your voucher.

RD is dead; long live RD!

When that blue "DL with RD" button is clicked and turns to "RD (100%)", DMM saves this torrent's information so that other users will know that this torrent is cached.

This is the solution we've designed to cope up with the loss of instantAvailability endpoint. I didn't expect it to work so well, especially now that I've bought 2 new RD subscriptions that powers up bots checking every hash in t...

FAQ

1. What is RD Cache?

Answer: Real-Debrid cache is synonymous to their storage servers. Every content that their users download are stored so that when another user requests for it, it's not redownloaded again. It is available instantly for other users, and without waiting, you can watch content immediately.

When RD removed their "instant availability" endpoint, we lost the ability to look into which content are available to be watched...

5500+ torrents added in first day of DMM's availability database

RD's cache is alive and healthy. This set represents 200++ TB of content across 2,500++ unique movies and shows. And this is just purely community effort from the first day.

Tomorrow I'll start doing some automation on this but thanks to everyone who is participating!

RD implements new rules. Watch this post for updates.

Changes observed:

1. They've removed CORS headers from their API and even my local development is affected. (Fixed in DMM)

2. They've killed the instantAvailability endpoint. (Fixed in DMM)

3. Torrents are mostly unaffected. (zurg is still working fine)

--- Update: 23.11.2024 22:59 CET

4. RD has put an active download limit of 6

--- Update: 24.11.2024 02:44 CET

5. They've removed the links again from /torrents endpoint

What Do You Think About Dumped Torrents?

Hey everyone,

I wanted to take a moment to talk about the “dump” feature I rolled out a few releases ago and get your thoughts on it. For those who’ve been using it, the dump feature creates a new `dump` directory on your mount where you can find content from zurgtorrent files. The idea was to foster a community space for sharing these files and helping each other build our libraries—kind of like DMM’s hashlists, but specifically for zurg.

When I first launched it, I tho...

New Nightly Implements probable BW Limit Fix

Recently, a second user reported successfully bypassing Real-Debrid (RD) bandwidth restrictions using Zurg's nightly release. The first user who identified this issue was operating on version 0.9.3. With these two data points, we observed a correlation linked to the unrestrict caching mechanism.

Understanding the Issue: My analysis suggests that when a non-residential IP reaches the 400GB bandwidth limit, the restriction primarily applies to previously unrestricted...

Flu's Over, Code is Flowing Again

Hey everyone,

The past few weeks have been a bit challenging, as I came down with the flu right when I was starting my new job. Unfortunately, this meant I had to put my projects on hold. But after some much-needed rest, I’m finally feeling better and ready to get back into coding. Expect some exciting updates and releases before the week starts!

Thanks for your patience and support!
