Steven R. McQueen (Jeremy) is actually older than Nina Dobrev but only by one year. He was 22 when this aired. Most of the main cast is around the same age except for Ian Somerhalder (Damon) and Paul Wesley (Stefan), who are a bit older, with Ian being the oldest at 32 here, and Paul at 28. Ian is the same age as Matt Davis (Alaric) and 9 years older than Sara Canning (Jenna), who is only a year and two older than her niece and nephew on the show. Also, again, thanks for the Matt love!

2024-08-27 07:19:13 +0000 UTCI’m loving the sparks and pique of interest between Jeremy and Bonnie. I would like to see more time spent on her and a romance like the other female characters have. Bonnie and Jeremy are both very very attractive characters and my girl deserves a hot sizzling romance. I actually can see Bonnie with Damon as well. I love their interactions and I think they would be a hot pair. There’s chemistry between them and a lot of it. That being said, I am liking whatever this is with Bonnie and Jeremy. It’s cute and Jeremy has been my 3rd favorite character so far behind Stefan and Bonnie so it is nice to see him develop as a character. Lucy was great and I would have enjoyed her presence if she stayed around. I don’t enjoy how quickly the witches seem to come and go. I actually agree with Bonnie’s objection to being a pawn for vampire usage. She’s one of the most powerful characters on the show with so much to draw from. So much can be done with her character but it seems as though the only interaction she has with the vampires is when they need her help. I want more scenes with her Stefan, and Damon. I want to see service done to Bonnie’s character…more interactions and more Bonnie in her glory without being a character that is only in an episode to be of help to vampires. Tyler triggering his curse is going to make everything even more interesting. I like seeing interactions between Caroline and Tyler. Can’t wait to see how this plays out because he is suspicious of her considering she knew about the curse and his wounds healing. I wonder what Katherine is running from. That’s the detail that is the most interesting and it seems as though she was correct with what she told Damon in the tomb considering Elena has been taken by a mystery individual. We need Stefan to go rescue his girl.
