The best trilogy for me hands down! No other trilogies have lived up to nor beaten the experience Iβve felt these films have accomplished in story and scope. The payoff after watching all three is bittersweet yet immensely satisfying. Any other movie I watch with huge battle sequences are immediately compared to the scope of these three films. Specifically the battle of Pelennor in ROTK is the gold standard of how movie battles on screen can strive to be or become better at doing. ππΌ
