i dont know if Will has romantic feelings for micke.... but he´s definitely very lonly and feels lost and alone. he is wishing for is "best friend" to notice his suffering and be there for him. but micke only has eyes and thoughts for el and that hurts. it is often overlooked and dismissed in male friendships depicted in any media but also in society, that it is okay to platonicly love your good friends. and how much value a how healthy a emotionally supportive friendship is. no matter the gender. thats why i love the friendship between robin an steve altho kinda sad that in order to get to that frindship she needed to come out as gay. bc something even more dissmised than male friendship is a friendship between a girl and a boy that are both straight. like there is only love intrest or no interest not much in between. (not talking abaut 2+ friendgroups but the direct relationship between two people)
