His mouth looks like it's curling into a slight smirk, or maybe that's just my eyes decieving me? And like FleeTheScene mentioned, it's pretty hard to tell what he's feeling here. I do agree that it does feel like a mix of both. However, I do wanna lean towards him feeling more hurt? Deep down he does love her and doesn't want her to leave. Perhaps even mocking? I do remember Cyan saying on his ToyHouse that he *envies* mortals, and is absolutely disgusted by this feeling. And he doesn't care nor understand mortals either. So maybe he's mocking Eleodora for being 'soft' and showing emotion? I also read Candy's comment and I def agree with them here too! They explained it so perfectly. I do wanna add, following Lumino hating mortals, that he's probably mocking Eleodora and saying that she'll come to despise/not care for them like he does. That she'll lose her empathy, happiness, desire, and become an empty, cold, apathetic like he is. And the line, "You have become more like me down the core." REALLY intrigues me because it heavily implies that Lumino KNOWS that he's am awful person but just doesn't care. After all, seeing the same faces (some of which have hurt him) for thousands of years probably did that to him. I feel like he's projecting a little here too? Manipulation definitely. He wants to turn this on Eleodora and make her feel like an even worse person than he is. Lumino's relationship with Eleodora seems to mirror Arnyek and his relationship on some levels. Arnyek did love Lumino but was protective over him and manipulative, often forcing him to do things without his say. He eventually retaliated and beheaded her before abandoning her. Lumino did genuinely love Eleodora but used her. And she eventually retaliated against him too as shown here. But I think the difference between Eleodora and her father is that she walks away with a newfound freedom and a chance to do what's she always wanted to. To think for herself. To be her own person and most important; find genuine happiness. And Lumino? Well. His character remains just as he acts. Stoic. I yapped sm and probably deviated from the main point I'm sorry HAHGADA-
