I've actually been sitting on this idea for a while, and when the Lincoln Project shit went down, I knew it was the universe telling me it was time.

One joke I didn't end up using because I couldn't figure out how to maneuver it in was Pilson finding a way to say something like "Look, this isn't put on! I know all the random phrases, even the new ones! Poggers and such" and then being asked by the interviewer why he knows all the words that only teenage boys use.

When deployed right, I think a simple "What the" is far funnier as a response than any ridiculous string of expletives, and I think the framing of a dick pick as insanely zoomed out is also pretty funny. As for the drake song... what can I say? It's catchy! I really only enjoy the Drake hits post-MilleBobbyBrownGate, which I promise is not intentional.

Even though I think the title being simply "Damage Control" is really funny, I think I actually ended up leaving it somewhat ambiguous as to whether or not Congressman Pilson's "Random Defense" is genuine.
