Thanks for answering the question , I think one offs and unfinished stories are special because it allows the listener to have some say about the what could have's. Personally I like imagen that the real sister "plays dead" by not responding or perfectly reflecting the mirror's movements. So the mirror gets worried and check to be sure the real sister is trapped , and that's when the real sister ambushes the mirror and switches back.
