Here is another from my exploration of light modifiers I rarely use:
A Westcott focusable spotlight with built-in Gobos.
The trick with the gobo's is you can set them to create straight (or not straight) lines and focus them so the shadow will become very hard - or soft - as you please.


I shot these on a day when the fuses kept blowing out (nine times in all - I think it was a defective flashhead), so the video from this session is not worth showing, unfortunately.
Anyway, I love the shadow that appears to be a stocking.
If you like this style of images, you should check out Nicholas Freeman. He does extraordinary work with focusable spotlights.
George Meyer also does darn impressive work with this modifier.
