And here we go! I'm happy to bring you the next chapter of True Colours. It's the first of at least two, maybe three or maybe four (we'll see) chapters which will bridge the gap between the first story arc, which concluded in chapter eight, and the next and final one.
The document I've linked includes chapters seven and up; in case you need to catch up on the previous chapters, here's the link to chapters one through six.
One thing to note: in the couple months since I published chapter eight, I went back and did some editing of this story: the most notable change is that I've changed the protagonist's nickname from "J" to "Jay". I've already edited the files to reflect that, but I'm spelling it out here so y'all don't get confused.
